Oh, yeah. That's why I am just going to say fukk it and just watch it when it starts :russ:

Hopefully rewatch value for this is better than Witch from Mercury, which I have no interest in ever coming back to.
Everything up to the squish moment was pretty good. Then the show goes downhill. :francis:

I still don't know how to feel about that. It did a lot right and was an innovative angle but there are so many other crucial elements that didn't connect.

I do think it did a good job as an entry point to get point interested in the franchise. The prologue was great. Season 1 of it set many things up pretty well. Ultimately, pacing issues killed S2 and the momentum they had coming into it. Suletta and her development was on the plus side of things, but the rest of the cast felt like missed potential. It really needed a 3rd season.

Proof to show bad pacing can be the ultimate killer to any show.

So what we had was not a married couple, but rather a stalker situation. Man to think Toru was living a happy life and Kyoko tried to take that away. Using his child as a threat is just fukking awful. Thankfully, Toru will go back to the living, but I just hope this memory comes back. Dealing with a stalker is bad enough, but having them commit suicide because you rejected them is cruel.

While Neko doesn't have proof that Masaki was responsible for the incident last week. At least with how he pushed Kyoko to kill herself will put her more on guard around him.

Episode 4 of Girumasu/I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time finished up adapting volume 1 today. The adaptation itself has been pretty good so far. The 4 episodes per volume is a good pace for this adaptation.

For most of this show, Alina's priority has been about being able to maintain a simple lifestyle. Even if it was obvious is she would go back to save them, it still was nice to see her make that choice and come back. Obviously, it isn't her fault Shroud died, but that lose still clearly sits with her. This episode shows that she is incredibly kind because you can tell she has grown fond of the members of Silver Snow. You really get the sense the guilt would have eaten her up if she didn't go back. So we now have two priorities for Alina, clock out on time and make sure everyone comes back home.

We got some info regarding the Dark Gods coming. At the end of the day, this show isn't groundbreaking fantasy. Unlike the majority of isekai which feels like escapism. This series has a more realism vibe which we can understand Alina's frustrations. Which really gives it a fun vibe that makes it work as a Fantasy comedy.

Waited till Sakamoto Days had enough episodes to get a real feel for the series and yeah, it's fun as hell as advertised :blessed:

Glad the worries about the animation were unfounded. It's not inspiring work but it gets the job done so no complaints from me :ehh:

How much time after SpyXFamily did Sakamoto Days debuted as a manga @tripleaamin? it certainly follows the same formula of funny slice of life with a fun action premise (and it does it really well).

It was a year after, but I never felt the similarity.

Spy x Family and Yozakura Family (which debuted in the same year) had a very similar Action SoL Comedy feel. Sakamoto Days always felt action first, even in the early parts of the series.

Disgusting production quality in the latest solo leveling episode :banderas: :wow:

Felt like I was watching a ufotable unlimited budget works episode for a moment. They really ment it when they said as episodes go on the production quality will get better. As they are solo leveling themselves :wow:

Next two episodes will be :blessed::blessed:

EDIT: Crazy how re:zero is the first anime that I refuse to watch or read it because I hate the MC for choosing Emilia over rem :francis:

Fantastic finish to the episode :wow:

The conversation at the beginning of this episode was very interesting. The mention of the church's torturing techniques. The corruption of the church and they can only see examples of why they should continue what they are doing rather than also looking at examples. It is that foundation of terror and torture is what Antoni was able to rise in the ranks. To think Damien has been here since the start of the series.

Though it is not a surprise that Nowak is in a complete mess even after all of this time after losing his daughter. For Nowak his hatred for heliocentrism is bar none. Considering he doesn't know his daughter is alive, he thinks heliocentrism is the reason for everything that has happened to him. It is his enemy that keeps returning. For him, heliocentrism is a true evil. If we get a reunion of father and daughter, it will be very interesting.

As Draka meets up with Jolenta, I think why many people didn't assume Jolenta was the leader was based on what we know from her. She was very soft and in line. Though through all of these years, she has changed so much. The first indication that her threat against Draka felt real if Draka didn't handle the conversation well. But conviction being a strength and a limitation is interesting. While yes, you will presume those things. As Jolenta alluded to, having a conviction towards something can make you blind to such things. Her conviction to heliocentrism is part of the reason she changed. Granted, she had to because Antoni basically ruined her life. I think a key for Draka to understand the downfall of following your convictions too closely.

Though I absolutely did love when Draka was talking about what was inside the book, we saw a shot of Oczy. It was like he was reading the book to her. It headlines back in the series where Jolenta considers reading and writing a miracle and that scene was another example justifying her claim.

I don't watch a ton of anime, but SpyXFamily is the first thing it reminded me of. Especially the humor and family aspects. Animation is starting to grow on me, but not the biggest fan of Shin's design. I do like the different assassins they introduce.

Yeah, the ep started aight with tha animation but as soon as they entered the gate shyt got :wow: :wow: this next arc seems like it's gonna be a dope one.

Still can't get my head around the blonde hunter being :noah: at Jinwoo over his smell. It's hilarious on so many levels :mjlol:

PS: I don't even remember much about Re:Zero besides the MC being annoying as fukk and the dying gimmick getting a little old. I've been thinking about watching s3 to see I was just hating back then but still don't really feel like watching it.
