Übel Blatt might be the worst anime adaptation ever (other than berserk cg lol) the manga is classic I read it years ago
they got this shyt on fast forward, out of order AND changing shyt for no fukking reason
don't even watch this just read the manga

Everything up to the squish moment was pretty good. Then the show goes downhill.

I still don't know how to feel about that. It did a lot right and was an innovative angle but there are so many other crucial elements that didn't connect.

I do think it did a good job as an entry point to get point interested in the franchise. The prologue was great. Season 1 of it set many things up pretty well. Ultimately, pacing issues killed S2 and the momentum they had coming into it. Suletta and her development was on the plus side of things, but the rest of the cast felt like missed potential. It really needed a 3rd season.

Proof to show bad pacing can be the ultimate killer to any show.
