Goddamn Blue Lock S2 had me HYPE! I KNEW King Barou was gonna get out there and do something crazy. Barou and Bachira are still the best characters. Not Rin's hater ass; not that dude that's so Zesty he made Bachira look normal; not any of the new characters...It's King Barou and Bachira!
My only complaint is
What chapter did S2 finish on? I might have to start reading the manga if S3 is a ways out. I also skipped the Nagi movie...Nagi's third behind the King and the Monster, but I don't really care about backstories. Rin vs Big Bro felt like a straight disruption of the most epic sporting event I've seen in an anime.
Now I've gotta pick my next binge...Shangri La Frontier probably...maybe Go Go Loser Ranger. I need something light before Apothecary Diaries has me sleuthing once a week.
My only complaint is
Isagi's the only character out here who had to rely on luck for his goal. Wtf is that!? Every other goal scorer leveled up and didn't something crazy. Isagi just stood there after getting FRIED by Rin's big bro. Isagi has the most pedestrian skillset of on the roster. Reo's chameleon ability is more fun than Direct Shot and jigsaw puzzle assembly. FoH.

But cot damn Scavengers Reign was so good
the first episode was hardly any dialogue so I thought it was gonna just be empty eye candy, every plot thread got heavy with the perfect amount of pacing and tension, that planet was fukked
Unfortunately it got cancelled after season 1 since marketing for American animation is usually trash and we only know how to move kids shows or raunchy adult swim originals made by closet molesters

I got to be honest, the timing in which Megumi arrived was some good timing. For a second, I thought Aoshi had something to do with it, which wouldn't make sense. It was more so her not wanting to stay behind and follow her heart much like Kaoru. Good on Ougni-sensei to give her the extra push.
It's good to see that Okina at least isn't dead, but still, he is in no condition for now. Misao how packed her resolve quicker than I expected. She sets out to be the leader of the Oniwaban group. Though I am happy she has the resolve to fight Aoshi when the time comes. Thanks to Yahiko and Kaoru no more bloodshed happened because they gave Aoshi what he wanted. Kenshin will be coming for you after all setting out to kill Okina.
Well, Sano most likely got lost again and realized it would be easier to be sent to the prison where Saito is and have him lead him to Kenshin and Kyoto. Though with Cho we learn two important things. Sojiro and the newly learned about Usui are the most dangerous men under Shishio. Though unlike Sojiro who is incredibly loyal to Shishio, Usui is not, but the way Shishio commands his respect by the means of strength is actually interesting.
Tho a bigger concern for both Sano and Saito is what Shishio's plans actually are and for Kyoto. The motivations for Saito and Sano are different, but strive for a common goal. Saito not wanting to lose what his fallen brethren fought for and for Sano it is the people of Kyoto. As they deserve to be protected for the peace that they should finally have.

As Maomao was sniffing away things like those scents can increase a miscarriage. Giving the smell lead Maomao to Shin has me curious. Could there be resentment that Lihua's son died while Lingli survived perhaps? Obviously, Lihua doesn't feel that, but given she has a mass number of ladies in waiting. Now to add that a middle rank concubine Jin is dead. Which I don't think we were introduced to yet? Or I just don't remember. Well, that's another thing to add to the bucket list of issues for Jinshi.
On another note, the mystery offers such an engaging aspect to this anime. It's why I am conflicted about starting to read the Ln because the anime is such a great adaptation and knowing what happens would ruin the mystery.

The Nagi movie is actually dope, but its better watching it before season 2. It's basically telling his backstory plus season 1 through his eyes.
Shangri La Frontier is dope.
Definitely recommend that. Season 1 is fire. Season 2 takes a lil bit to get going but once it does, that shyt goes hard as fukk.

We truly are entering an era where now people are clearly questioning God. With Schmitt last episode and Draka this episode. Oczy had great eyesight, while Draka's memories are incredible. Though that doesn't help his concerns because she is trying to survive. Believing in God hasn't helped matters.
Honestly, no surprise that the Uncle did any means of surviving, but it is fukking disgusting how much lower Antoni went at this point. The church being by far the lowest at this point. Though I am curious if Schmitt and his men will be back for the book? Unless Draka can get away fast enough.
