There is a difference between couldn't get into it and what the brehs criticism of Frieren. Felt like a case of the breh didn't pay attention like he did when he tried Sengoku Youko, which Frieren shares many similarities with. Tho at this point, if someone doesn't like someone, I will joke around, but I don't really care enough to debate that shyt.

Now the lack of SLF mention here has me disappointed in the action brehs here. The big fights in both S1+S2 have delivered :wow:

Obviously, a different flavor of action then Solo Leveling which is more of a power fantasy, but the action is well directed as well.
SLF has too many other characters I don't give a damn about and the plot is kinda mid, the show has been good but not memorable

And I'm not bouta watch multiple versions of the same general premise during the same season :yeshrug: if Solo Leveling is airing I'm not watching any other gaming adjacent anime that season

So whenever ya'll nikkas shyt on those action packed episodes of MHA, ya'll prollly didn't pay attention either right? :mjlol:

That nikka tripping about Sengoku Youku, can't defend that shyt cuz its been action packed with a great story. But you also gotta remember this the same nikka that said Kenichi didn't have enough episodes to be looked at as one of the great tier animes (show had 50 fukking episodes) so yeah he'll say some off the wall shyt every now and then.
Dude did watch Viral Hit and I parry everything which were both top notch and slept on so he get credit for that.

Now cats are definitely sleeping on SLF season 2, but that shyt did start off mid. But its been cooking for a while now and people seem to not care. It doesn't do fighting better than SAO so maybe that's why.
Its still not seeing Solo Leveling. That shyt is just done to well. SLF yesterday was epic, but even then it didn't see what Solo did the previous day. That battle with that boss ice elf was some next level shyt.

I mean nobody shyts on MHA based on the animation and action. It's the best part of how bones has done S6+S7 along with the Todoroki plot line. I did hate how last season tried to make us feel bad for Toga towards the end of S7. That shyt was some atrocious writing by Hori. Now if a brehs problem is the action, that's another thing altogether.

My main point is that it is fine when brehs just say they don't feel for a show. We all have the shows that we just don't get the hype. When your criticism feels like you didn't watch the show because Frieren herself and how she feels about demons and saying she has no personality is basically spewing bullshyt.

As for SLF, I feel like it more so tries to replicate the video game experience, which it does better than SAO. As the part you called mid was when Sunraku was grinding and let's be honest, who really enjoys grinding. Once that was over it went to the Mecha game, which pushed the direction to get the story back moving forward. Though I do agree that the fights themselves aren't as polished or as consistent as either Solo or SAO.

You capping, cuz MHA can have a fire episode with nothing but fades and some poetry reading ass nikka would come in here and complain.

If a nikka said he don't fukk with a show cuz the main bytch is boring than it is what it is. The bytch prolly boring. You can have a personality and still be boring as fukk. That mean the bytch just has a boring personality.

SLF does try to replicate the video game experience, but its been hit or miss sometimes with this season. All that grinding shyt was boring and took too fukking long. Vinland Saga had its slow moments too, but it was still interesting. SLF just doesn't do a good job with those parts.

Orb is a really well made show but it really jumps a level after ep. 7-8 and keeps going up from there :banderas:

Nowak is such a perfect foil :wow: having to go through like 4 episodes of inevitable torture/torture itself should've been too much but I was wowed at how well they pulled it off. And the little twist in ep 14 was so predictable yet so well made :blessed:

These barbaric eurpean cac disgust me so much with their ignorance :pacspit: I loathe them so damn much brehs, Every time I go back and read history of 500-1500 Europe I go :scust: at their ways. Their ego legit pisses me off, even more so because I only got to read their side of "history" in school and it took me till I was like 20 to really figure out what the fukk was really going on (even worse when you think about me being from a colonized country like Chile).

One thing I am surprised about is the animation and directing because I just figured it to be a good story with minimal animation, but the visuals have been good enough. The directing has been great where you are hanging on each word in the show, similar as one would be in Monogatari. Frieren's success really revived Madhouse and hopefully the working conditions are better than there were last time.

Both arcs so far have been great. In the first arc delivered a good shock with Rafel dying to his convictions at a young age. As he was a kid who had his future set. Which has a big carryover regarding Nowak in the 2nd arc. But man the character development Oczy and Badeni had simply was just :wow:. The character writing here is absurdly good. Really excited about the 2nd half of this and to see how these characters take the story from here. I really like the idea the story gets carried over to a new character. An intriguing way of storytelling that you don't normally get in anime.

The drawings on the shpw remind me of Vinland Saga season 2. I wonder if it's the sane team that got more Time to polish theiir work at Madhouse for Orb.

It would be an awesome story if Madhouse not obly returns to its glory but also does it in a way that it was intended when Maruyama created the studio :wow:
