TsumaSho last episode is gut wrenching even tho you know what’s gonna happen :to: :mjcry:
I heard that they adapted 14 vols into 12 episodes, so I plan to read the manga since the anime skipped a lot supposedly. Just pointing it out in case you were interested.

Part 2 of Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto arc is back :blessed: Man this episode had me :russ: :jbhmm: :mjcry:

One of the key issues with Kenshin that Hiko is that Kenshin is in too much of a rush. He is eager to learn the ultimate technique as soon as possible to take down Shishio. The problem is Kenshin himself isn't ready. As Hiko points out, Kenshin is rusty and his mention of the word bullying then to training is basically to tell Kenshin don't kid yourself. After all, no ultimate technique is worth squat if Kenshin can keep up with Shishio and his men. Forget Shishio Soujirou will be a worthy challenge for Kenshin.

Honestly, Shishio's philosophical talk about hell was interesting. Especially with Orb also airing this season. The fact that the solution is to slaughter, doesn't that make each man the devil? As Kenshin and the Imperialist Government obviously oppose that idea. Shishio truly embraces this world as hell. Shishio is scum, but he is in such a way that makes for a compelling villain and leader. He can persuade others and turn them into slaughters for him.

Shout out to Okina in this episode. We saw him as this silly grandpa for most of this season, but man this episode showcased he was not one to be messed with. He had no hesitation against torturing to leave a message for Aoshi. Honestly, this episode really impressed me with Okina. Yes, he lost to Aoshi and his life, but he did not hesitate against his declaration on Aoshi. Reminds me of Kenshin in many ways. You first see Kenshin as this nice guy, but if you mess with the people he held dear, the gloves are coming off.

Poor Misao. Unfortunately, this was the best outcome for her to move forward because I doubt she would have believed that Aoshi would have killed Okina. Honestly when you compare Kenshin and Aoshi's group you see how similar they are, but Aoshi's group is so tragic. To think how Kenshin would have embraced Himura Battōsai if he never met Kaoru. Since Misao has been out of Aoshi's life for so long. Aoshi is along and while Kenshin pushes his companions away, they keep coming back. Which serves as a reminder he isn't alone and don't steer from the kind man you are.

Watched two new seasonals.

The first being Aquarion: Myth of Emotions. Tbh coming in I didn't even know that Aquarion was a full-fledged series coming in. Despite that, I liked the first episode, although the art style is def a departure from the other entries from what I can tell.

Honestly, as someone who didn't know of Aquarion as a series, I liked the first episode. Granted, I was confused a bit of what is the threat and why the kids are being trained. We start at the beginning with Sayo's funeral. From what it looks like, Sakko was the only one that really knew her. You do get a sense of a strong bond between Sayo, Sakko and Momohime. The flight simulations reminded me of Star Fox 64, so an unpopular opinion is that I liked those parts.
There appears to be a reference that I may don't understand? We def going full Mecha in episode 2. Might have been better or not if we had a more slower episode to start things off, but I guess they wanted to start off with a bang.

The 2nd episode was From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!

Honestly, this is a series that @MushroomX would fukk with. It's a nice spin on the typical Villainess formula. Dad mode basically. fukkery and comedy is on point. Haven't really liked a Villainess series since Villainess Level 99 and the comedy in this one feels as good as that one.

Shall check it out. There has been some Villainess Isekais where even if it's good, I have to turn away because its going to be the same story... so if there is a spin, it makes it watchable.

That being said Dr. Stone I heard is getting a 3-Cour treatment like some kind of fukked up AoT Final Season treatment.

Kenshin is back as well for it's 2nd part.

And The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World I just checked out, it seems a bit mid I find the quirky nature of buying shyt from Amazon to sell shyt in another world interesting.

Yeah, it's 3 separate ones too, like how Re:Zero is. Might as well wait and catchup when the 3rd cour starts.

Well, at least we know this ahead of time unlike AoT where it was Final Season → Final Season Pt 2 → Final Season Pt3: Final chapters :unimpressed:

Dr. Stone is cool, but it ain't action oriented so it's better to watch all around the same time.
