Watched the first 2 episodes of Ameku M.D: Doctor Detective.

Smart to start with back 2 back episodes so that the first case is resolved to get a good feeling for this series. How everything was connected was very well done. Granted, I will admit understanding medical terms left me a bit lost, but the show did a solid job in explaining things well enough.

The characters are really nice and do have House M.D. feel. Takao the genius, paired with Yu who had the clutch defense for Takao at the end. Mai is credited as a main role, so curious if she has a bigger presence as the show goes on. Oowashi (uncle) and Mazuru (older sister) seem the types that will keep Takao alive.

Obviously, the OP and ED looked great. But the episode looked solid and definitely better than the average P9 show. The first show of the season that I am excited to continue watching.

Up to episode 6 on Ishura S1 rewatch.

To start, we get a meeting between Hidow, Yuno and Soujirou. As it plays out, Hidow wants to prevent a war between Aureatia and Lithia. Soujirou just wanting to fight is a great asset for Hidow. Still, there is information regarding Dakai that Yuno wishes to learn. The thought of something that could have been avoided, but the real question is what is the need for her to seek him out. What happened is the past, and we all know she stands no chance against him.

As the episode switches to Taren and Curte, we can see that Curte looks at her like a mother, even though Taren doesn't wish that. It does seem apparent that there is a more profound meaning in Curte and Regnejee's relationship. They are inseparable. Though the mention of Curte thinking that Regnejee is an angel is interesting. Clearly, unlike with Kuze that isn't the case as Regnejee can't always be there to protect her. We know Regnejee has a soft spot for Curte given his conversation from Dakai. Still, I am intrigued what Taren feels about Curte without Regnejee and his army coming into play.

As we switch back to Elea and Kia meeting Lana. It is clear that Elea wants to remove any traces of people having a connection to Kia or them knowing Elea's connection to her. As Elea planned to sneak on Lana, she hears a very interesting conversation between Dakai and Lana. Simply put, Lana's work as a spy has been caught by Dakai. It seems she was trying to make Curte out as the spy with the diaries that she read. Though as Regnejee's trust in Curte to be unwavered, Dakai realized that Curte's love for Taren is true much like it is for her love for Regnejee.

As a bandit from another world, Dakai is used to dealing with how to air out a rat. This is one case of an offworlder using their skills that characters in this fantasy world wouldn't think of. Interesting use here compared to Soujirou from episode 1 where his pure strength was the pure thing. Still, at the end of the episode, Elea takes Kia with her to rescue Lana. More so the point, she doesn't care about the safety of Kia and is more so caring of her power.

The one interesting part of this episode that Lana mentions is how Taren was pressured to rule. It is always the idea that we want the best people in charge, but makes me wonder if Taren even wants any of this. Now she finds herself declaring a war against Aureatia. The worse part is she is now a target for assassination by Aureatia.

I’m posting this cuz I’m spiraling due to my boss not giving me an assignment

and when I say boss, I mean @tripleaamin :francis:

I guess I’m gonna take a dive in Notorious Talker

wish me luck brehs

there's a lot of mid in that ig post

I'll put you on some action gang shyt so you'll do a better job of deciding which anime to watch.

Most anime that have more than 4 words in their title are mid and not worth your time. Now of course you got some exceptional classics like Fist of the North Star that go against what I'm saying, but I said most not all.

Anything that starts out on some "The world's biggest pushover becomes the strongest bully in another world" will prolly be some mid nikka.

same thing with shyt like..."I became the greatest salaryman overnight by watching anime" will prolly be trash breh. :hhh:

Baki
Kengen Ashura
Hell's Paradise
Black Clover
Kill la Kill
Tokyo Revengers
Fire Force

are examples of dope shyt that ain't got the fukking preamble of the fukking Constitution in the got damn title. :dahell:

Hope this helps.

Watching through the first episode of Momentary Lily, which is an original Action CGTCT's by studio Go Hands. Which is definitely one of the more experimental studios out there. Story has potential. Although the animation and camera direction could make some people dizzy.

On episode 7 of my Ishura S1 rewatch. One thing I am noticing that in a binge, how cleanly the story flows. Despite there being 5 character introduction episodes, each of this episode are connected. It is not an episode as you would think, Prob binge S2 together after it nearly finishes airing.

Regarding episode 7, we see Soujirou and Yuno having an encounter with Shalk and Higuare. The fight between Shalk and Soujirou sees Shalk having the best of Soujirou surprisingly. Although one clear indication here is how good, Soujirou's instincts are. While Higuare allows Yuno to live because he needs a horse, and she is by and far the weakest among them. Really sets in tone that Yuno's weakness is still present.

As Taren shoots the Cold Star at Aureatia. Numerous variables happened. One thing that is learned is that Alus isn't allied with either Aureatia or Lithia. Though he cares about collecting the Cold Star, so you could say has an interest in Aureatia. Meanwhile, there are no reports of Soujirou, which has him freaked out. Kuze is Hidow's other ace in the hole.

Though he is letting Nihilo loose and honestly, despite having an alliance, Nihilo is the scariest one in this show. Her destructive power is back at full force and there is the fear if you can reign her. Granted, losing Soujirou is a desperate time calls for desperate measure, but that trusting in Nihilo is a big risk. You do have to give credit to Harghent for not hiding when it isn't in his best interest to protect the people in Aureatia. You have to respect his pride. :salute:

With S2 starting next weekend and having read the first 20 volumes of the manga Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, a fantastic supernatural mystery manga. Currently, watching S1. One noticeable thing is the art style and directing, which is great. Although the animation itself is minimal so, there might be an issue when we get to the action.

The first 2 episodes establish the core of the series pretty well. Hanako and Nene's dynamic. More so, Nene's willingness to trust Hanako, which goes along with how naive she is. Even when it gets mentioned him being a spirit that killed someone. Though this is one of the charming aspects among them. Kou's introduction even more so emphasizes this.

One of the core dynamics of this series is how the school mysteries and rumors interact with each other. Episode 2 goes over how Hanako is responsible for the 7 school mysteries. And he is repaying God for his crimes, as mentioned above. Also, how many things supernatural act depending on their rumors because if they go against the rumors they will disappear.

One thing I will say about this series in general. Despite the art style, that looks pretty cute and wholesome. This series has moments that are quite brutal and disturbed. Not on the level of Dark Gathering or Berserk. But not too far off.
