Essential What Anime are you currently watching?
I was reading the manga. It's not bad .Since the 1st season of Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest is wrapping up in a few weeks, going to start to watch it. Been awhile since I watched the OG series.
Alot of young men now adays seem to have never kissed a girl.
But we can still have a variety of protagonists in these series. They don't all need to skew one way.
Hell they could have a series where the guy is an outgoing extrovert that's socially savvy and the girl is more introverted.
Chitose-kun is going to be one of the first mainstream romance type series to have a male lead that's basically a popular socially well adjusted male lead. Maybe it will start a trend.
Let's hope.

That’s a good description of him. He’s the central character in the most popular clique in his grade and comes with a pre-existing harem in that clique of popular girls vying to be his main chick.
The first arc is him meeting a Tomozaki type character and making him over and integrating him into that clique.
Another candidate is Haibara from Haibara’s New Game+ who while he’s introverted he’s a reincarnation of himself from the future with the knowledge of his mid-20s self and determined to be a popular guy this time around. Seems like the series will get an anime at some point.

Man thank goodness TOG is visually entertaining as fukk cuz the story and some of the world building is confusing as fukk.
Many of these characters it’s like, I don’t even know who the fukk they are of their relevance and relations to other characters.
Shows this are best if they released these long form back in the Naruto/Bleach era where seasons was like 50 eps.
coming back into this season from last a season all the information I feel wasn’t really clear…… then having the nerve to do a time skip after being away too long wasn’t a good look.
I’m still trynna wrap my head around what FUG is and I jokingly, playfully, no maliciously asked the good brother @Objection if he was FUG earlier this month in another thread and even him and @Secure Da Bag were puzzled
maybe a little of these details indeed in the mang but that’s no excuse for the anime when other shows have done a great job on laying out the world building and characte agendas.
HxH had thousand of characters but I got it…. same for Naruto
