I don’t know what to think anymore and I don’t believe I can trust Boss or you Division83 Clan :mjlol:
That show is more like a supernatural mystery show. The female lead does walk around in a bunny girl outfit for a bit but it doesn't focus on that.

I think it's a one true pair series with a non-romantic harem where girls are introduced one by one with supernatural issues and the protagonist solves them.

God Kurotsuchi had me rolling in the episode. It was classic him being Diabolical and I loved every second of it. :russ:

The best way to summarize this episode was great, hilarious and disturbing at the same time.

Zaraki wasn't going to listen, so I guess the best thing Mayuri could have done was immobilize him. Though Zaraki going to be fuming the next time he sees Mayuri. It honestly feels like Mayuri was toying with Pernida. Though I like the point Mayuri makes about book knowledge. It is only book knowledge until you put it in application. Zaraki simply let him self be used to show that.

My god, the ending portion where basically Mayuri's new bankai essentially summoned a giant baby which gave birth to another giant baby with regenerative nerves so that Pernida would just be helpless.

The series take heavy inspiration and is heavily influenced by Monogatari. Except everything surrounding supernatural mystery is done better in Monogatari. Not to mention pacing is handled well where in S1 of Bunny Girl Senpai the arcs in the middle portion feel slightly rushed. Even the main romance is better in Monogatari and the whole cast gets fully fleshed out. Of course, Monogatari is a much longer series.

Though I would say this series is much better to introduce to casuals because everyone knows how infamous Monogatari is with its fanservice, especially when it is taken out of context.

Blue Lock story is interesting, but the anime fell off a cliff. I might drop the anime and read the manga. Maybe I have better memories for S1 but the animation is a powerpoint

Manga just wrapped up today. And anime got announced, and the studio looks pretty solid. It won't be as visually good as Blue Box, but still pretty good I would reckon.

Anyone who liked Horimya should check the anime out when it comes out, which is January 2026. @Jmare007 iirc you liked Horimiya IDK who else did.
