Tbh the Sci-fi elements were lacking, which led to the ending feeling pretty. Though the romance drama aspects were fantastic with a great cast. Prob my favorite Romance show of the season. Writing was much better than the rest of the crowd. That aspect especially had me in the feels :mjcry:

Bleach is back, and I forgot the ending of part two ended in a weird place. Interesting to see where it goes in this part regarding the Soul King & Aizen making an impact. Art style feels different in part 3. Feels not as detailed, but hopefully that implies animation is about to stay more consistent on a topline level.

This episode adapted chapters 2-4. Overall, they are making the transitions from the manga really good. The arty style upgrade from the manga is noticeable like episode 1.
My only complaint is they turned away from this shot of Natsu too soon in the anime. Excellent episode 2.

Note: Netflix Japan has the 2nd subbed episode. You need to torrent like I did or check which sites have the episode.

Episode 2 adapted

Taki & Natsu sharing wish ribbons is really sweet. They are both striving for the same goal, just in their different sports. So the ribbons will in a way show that they are supporting each even if they aren't together. Though Kyo is right that Taki needed to communicate beforehand about how they were going to handle the situation at school. I doubt Natsu really cared about keeping it a secret.

Poor Taki thought that Natsu was actually mad at her. However, she was actually being very considerate for Taki. Thinking that he liked Hina and Hina raising the suspicions asking if Natsu had a boyfriend. Kind of funny Hina pushing to go for Natsu and Natsu didn't want to intrude on Taki with Hina. Though Taki laughing off what Natsu said regarding liking Hina was cute. It was the first time he was relaxed around her. In fact, when he is like that, their chemistry is great.

I really like the focus on Hina to wrap up the episode. She has a lot of pressure on her despite her silly and lax personality. In truth, she is very hard on herself with her diet and exercise. It really brings out the best attributes from Hina. She is a great friend for Taki.

man. I regret watching this week's blue lock. I think it might be better to wait for 2-4 episodes release first

I started watching this new show and it was pretty normal at first but maybe half way through it really went off the deep end. Mofos talking about taking bananas and ghost grannies possessing weenies.

@LordDeathwatch and anyone else looking for shows that have more meat and substance, Orb: On the Movements of the Earth looks like a good one. Given the time period, you have the science vs religion thing going. I liked how everyone we described Rafal to be he is a rational kid going to university at 12 years old. The fact that a heretic named Hubert got him to considered what the religion would consider blasphemy might be the truth.

I find it really interesting that he wants to research the truth despite the dangers. While it is logical to value your own life. However, by all accounts, Rafal is a scholar. What makes how Hubert interesting in the fact it isn't some science is supreme and God isn't real. The research is based on his belief in God. Religion considers Heaven the beautiful ideal, but he says I believe that God would create earth as that beautiful ideal.

The fact Hubert sacrifices himself to choose Rafal as his successor was bold and interesting. Curious how Rafal progresses further. The fact he lied to his father leads to the point he will seek to learn as much of the truth as possible. Rafal's father and Nowak are two really interesting characters.

Never watched the OG Ranma 1/2, but much like with Urusei Yatsura I will give the remake a shot. The visuals and comedy were pretty good. Akane being a tsundere that hates guys has me meh on, but series looks fun.

Watched the first episode of "The Most Notorious "Talker" Runs the World's Greatest Clan"

Fantasy show where the Mc is a part of the "Talker" class. Basically, a support class that handles buffs mainly, but the buffs seem significant. Mc basically has the goal to catch up to his grandfather in terms of being a seeker. Given the title he will start a clan, but that hasn't happened yet.

Visually it was serviceable. Not too much to say since first episode was slow. Not much airing on Mondays outside of Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective & Natsume. The former I am waiting to binge since I read this part in the manga, (prob start rewatching S1 bit by bit) and later I will never catch up in time.

MAN

Im trying with this🤣
