Starting watching Beastars through 4 episodes, it's finally starting to come together.

It takes place in a school setting with an Anthropomorphic setting. The big theme in this series Carnivores vs Herbivores. The former being meat eaters while the former being plant eaters. Obviously, being in a school setting these two sides coexisting is a big one. One thing that is clear that Legoshi who despite being a Carnivore he has his own issues. For instance, the smell of his prey will cause him to lose control. Though Legoshi is one who hates himself for it and puts him down. In a way, him being a Carnivore and existing among them is a bigger challenge than coexisting with the Herbivores.

In particular, when Bill is willing to consume Rabbit blood, it triggers Legoshi. As that is obviously prohibited since rabbits attend their school and Legoshi in particular has grown fond of a rabbit named Haru. He and Bill get into a fight and Bill asserts dominance and since they are both Carnivores it empathizes the strongest is on top of their kind. Louis comes to Legoshi's rescue as the top Herbivore in the school. This season is good as it shows Louis has Legoshi's back. In fact, considering previously he mentioned why does Legoshi act weak even though he is a carnivore. Obviously, here Legoshi displayed the true strength that he showcased in the play.

Slow start, but curious if this show dives deeper into this and becomes darker to it. As things like Haru trying to appease Legoshi by offering her body is another example of the superiority that Carnivores have over Herbivores normally.

I don't remember why I dropped Beastars, I remember saying it felt like a perfect saturday morning cartoon.

Danmachi is back. :blessed: Solid episode 1 :ehh:

The beginning of this episode was like the big announcement you had after you defeat a big boss in a JRPG and you get the level up screen of everyone leveling up. Although everyone deserved it after what they went through. Tbh was hoping to see Bell level up after he adjusted to being level 4 in the deep floors.

I guess Ryu is just here to suffer. She might be the one who is the most down bad for Bell. Obviously, it was obvious since the beginning that Syr had feelings for Bell. Though remembering that according to Ryu, Syr saved her when she was at her lowest point. The big reveal though I had some suspection of Syr being involved with the Freya Family. An invitation to the Goddess Festival. She made the first move.

Though it is weird that Syr & Hestia haven't met. That immediately is a big flag. Horn is a personal assistant to Frey, but she doesn't have a name like Bell does. That does give me a weird feeling about Freya. More importantly, Syr setting his eyes on Bell is a conflict within the family that they had to have a meeting about it.

Despite everything Bell has been through, Hedin gives him a beating. Tbh leveling up Bell would have at least been a good thing to have down. Though the post credit scene was very interesting. One thing is apparent and that is Syr has some relation to the Goddesses. First guess is that she is the Goddess of Fertility given the arc's name. Even more so when Freya mentions that Syr is in that particular form. Though Freya gives her blessing on the condition she keeps her secret from Bell. This has me very intrigued.

Anime original by the Tanya director. Basically, the MC, Sasaki has 2 years to live. It clearly sets it up as a fishing anime, but given the symbolism of making the lure be alive in terms of how the Mc truly wants to live could make it a solid watch. Also, visuals were really nice. Wouldn't recommend if you aren't into fishing or the Iyashikei/Healing genre/

Blue Box is a Romance Sports anime with a much more focus given on the romance then the sports section. It is also Jump's biggest Romance series right now. As a manga reader, I did not expect this adaptation to look as good visually. If they can really elevate and enhance the sports sections in the anime I will love this adaptation. Since this series has been noted as being 90% romance and 10% sports.

This episode only adapted episode 1. It was very 1:1, but the visuals for stunning. OP & ED of cour 1 below.

As far as adaptation goes, this hits all the checkmarks. This will be a Frieren & Monogatari quality level adaptation. As expected, it covers Chapter 1 and really the most remarkable thing how awesome the directing, art direction, voice acting, animation, etc. are all on point.
They really are giving this an S++++ tier adaptation. :wow:

The foundation of this series is Momo & Ken. One believing in Ghosts/Yokai and the other believing in Aliens. Just the banter is so fukking good. Especially Natsuki Hanae who is doing an insane job. Ultimately, the ironic part the other learning the hard way that the Yokai or Aliens are real. Ken being cursed and Momo being captured.

Ken ultimately is someone who wanted a friend. Getting bullied in school and despite his belief in aliens being true, they never came for him. Momo did for that slight moment, which was her decision on a whim, but it really meant a lot to him.

Meanwhile, for Momo while practicing her Chi she would get teased. It was clear to her WHY she was getting bullied. It obviously hurt that the boy she liked was making fun of him. Which tore her relationship with her grandma. Her awakening to her powers really set in the regret to her words.

These two got out of their pickle, but how they go forward is uncertain. Though props for Momo for not letting Ken go off alone. Although the shock of his name is a might shock.
