Yo this fukking Terminator anime on Netflix been hard as shyt got damn it.

The violence in that shyt is flames. Really like how they illustrate how hard it is to actually murk a fukking terminator. Like nikkas treat it like the xmen trying to stop juggernaut. You need perfect complex teamwork to kill just one. Animation is on point.

Fantastic two episodes in showcasing Shinobu's origin in becoming a vampire :wow:

Wazamonogatari is going to make a chronological watch of Monogatari hit differently. I never thought of rewatching the series again in any order, but Ln order. This arc kind changed my thinking on that. Since before the only character that would benefit from a Chronological rewatch was Tsubasa Hanekawa IMO. Just thinking about how Shinobu's whole character and thinking of her two styles of laughs. When she says "kah kah" and when she says "hah, hah". Which means happiness. Since before we didn't know there was a difference between the two.

The idea that Princess Acerola was given a blessing instead of a curse is rather interesting. Since she wanted to be judged for who she is, but not for her beauty. In reality, who she was aka her soul was even more beautiful than her appearance. The idea that Deathtopia gives to Acerola makes so much sense. What the blessing/curse does is showcase her soul and in other wards her beautiful personality. The idea is to lessen it by pretending to be evil and tough. The two things about Shinobu that we see in the presence is how she eats like an uncultured child and her classic "kah kah" laugh. These really showcase how Shinobu differs as a vampire compared to when she is as a Princess.

Tropicalesque's death is presented in a very interesting light that shapes to how Shinobu is in the present and as Kiss-Shot. She sees Deathtopia eat Tropicalesque as it will take him very long to come back to life. Once again Princess Acerola sees her blessing/curse kill a life, but she sees Deathtopia eat him. This differs from all the other lives that were lost because of her. From her perspective, even though they died, they at least had a purpose. While ideally, it could be easier just to die, but it is not fair that she has to end her suffering because of the damn curse.

This honestly makes everything with Kiss-Shot in Kizumonogatari even more tragic. As Koyomi Araragi looks at her eating humans. Her decision to do this was to at least have these people's lives serve a purpose. If we assume the curse were to make Princess Acerola incapable of dying, then becoming an immortal vampire is her best-case scenario. Just imagining in Kizumonogatari she makes herself out as a villain mentioning the lives she has eaten. She ends up doing this just so that lives aren't at least thrown away. Some may argue that they are dying either way. But from Acerola's POV it is some kindness she could give those that are unfortunately meet their doom in her presence.

Now we know the origin story of Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade and how she became a vampire. Very curious when we get to meet Deathtopia in the present and how she sees reunites with Kiss-Shot. The ironic part just like her, Shinobu is also in a child form.

The Elusive Samurai Episode 9

Man Cloverworks killed it with this episode. Each of the 3 fights were adapted beautifully. Ayako, Shizuku and Kojiro fully embrace their Lord. He may run away, but he is more of a warrior than Shokan and his subordinates. Each of these 3 showing their unique traits. Shizuku the group's trickster of the 3 messing with the warriors, Ayako willing to get her hands dirty means she will do anything if it is for Tokiyuki and lastly, Kojiro as the more conventional warrior with the determination to strike his foe down.

For Fubuki, simply put, he easily passes Ayako and Kojiro as the strongest in the group in both mind and body. Although he does have a beyond large appetite. Still, him recognizing sword patterns beyond even what the best in Shokan's group makes you wonder how strong is he really?

Meanwhile, for Tokiyuki once he got Shokan to play his game, it was over. Sure, he could have delivered more wounds, but if you are playing the long game with Tokiyuki you won't win. Ayako's praise is more in character of both her and what Tokiyuki brings. His weapon is absolutely the Cowardly Sword because he is running away for most of the time. Tokiyuki's ability to flee is his strength.

No doubt Shokan is an awful person, but it is fair to realize that everything in his life as an adult he had to take to get. He never earned anything, but stole as a thief. That is until Sadamune recognized his talents. Tbh Tokiyuki is still a kid, so it is not surprising he didn't think of delivering the killing blow to Shokan. Let's see what Shokan does with this second opportunity that Sadamune provided for him.

Finally, at the end, the joy that Yorishige has on his face to see a safe Tokiyuki was really sweet. Despite his silly personality, he truly cares for Tokiyuki and the kids. A very touching and wholesome scene.

Brutal cliffhanger, but a fantastic episode as it switches to a more psychologic perspective with the direction.

At this point, the reality of the situation is for Natsuki to admit his feelings. Atri is the girl who was his first love, but at the same time, when you see her as this silly robot who has the same stature compared to Ririka I guess it's hard not to have doubts. Great to see Ryuuji fully supporting him and not making fun of him. He is turning out to be a great friend.

Minamo truly is a wonderful and kind person. Also, a great friend to Natsuki as well. She sees Natsuki has gone back to his old self with Atri and given the situation everyone is in, she prioritizes his happiness over her feelings. Again takes a kind person to do this.

One interesting thing this episode illustrated with Atri's cooking is that she doesn't learn efficiently. The interesting thing is that her cooking had fewer mistakes with each new meal she learned. This is very human. Also, for everything Atri has done to make Natsuki happy, the fact that she comprehend that she is happy for Natsuki to think she is precious to him. If she only prioritized Natsuki and not herself, I don't think she would say that. At least that is what I think.

Well, the ending was brutal to watch as Natsuki for the first time understands a bit how Atri thinks. It's clear a lot of what Atri has done is to prioritize Natsuki and his feelings. Still no surprise Natsuki freaked out because she didn't quite know and gave him an answer that she thought he would like. Normally, a robot would go for the most logical answer, but Atri gave an answer that would make Natsuki happy. Atri is much more complicated than I expected. Dealing with the followup of the cliffhanger will be rough. Especially since Natsuki mentioned nothing will change. Also, Atri's past is still one big variable point.

Man, the direction and the twists are so fukking good :wow: The ending of the episode was a roller coaster :whew:

Initially, it did seem interesting that Natsuka will get a spotlight as it heads down there with Yukiya. We got a similar mention of using Yukiya as last time, but the difference is here the situation is much more drastic. Putting his feelings aside because he knows about the Monkeys attacking the north. The most important thing why is it specially the north? That part still feels strange.

Once Natsuka and Yukiya got down there it really gave you the sense it was a different world in the underground. Yukiya being sincere was what they wanted to see. Natsuka acted tough most likely won't work here. The interesting part is that Rokon is familiar with the underground. He even had to take care of the situation from getting worse. Given that he knew the meeting would fail, makes you think he is at least familiar with the underground.

King Saku comes and gives Yukiya as test as he grew a liking when they were testing the group. White shards are the one big clue for Yukiya. The fact that the Monkeys are living underground in a hidden region was a scary reveal. Since all of a sudden, Yukiya is being attacked. Wakamiya coming to his rescue, but it does seem he knew a path to where Yukiya was going. Curious about the wig Masuho was holding. The Prince has more up his sleeve.

Shoshimin: How to become Ordinary is literally about how 2 High School psychopaths try to become more normal.

The direction in this anime is outstanding one of the best in the season in this regard.

Senpai is an Otokonoko is a surprisingly well-written romance series through 8 episodes and for an even being surprise it has a well-written love triangle. It tackles the dynamic from each side rather than a lazy self insert love triangle which you see normally in the genre. Which is a rarity. Mc is an Otokonoko (identifies as female), so the main point of the series tackles what are gender norms, but uses that to create a well-written romance series. Those that like romance series should check this out.
I hit pause on this one.
