Oblivion Battery Episode 9

Great episode. More so since Kei no longer has his amnesia, though I expect this is temporarily because Kei as a leader makes this team feel too viable all of a sudden. It really showcases how great his leadership skills are, and he knows the right path for victory. Just the fact he has Haruka in line speaks for itself.

Kei will never get a girlfriend with or without amnesia. Well I guess if some girl likes him with amnesia, but I am sure the Kei without amnesia would break up with her if that miracle ever were to happen. Actually really excited to see how they do with Kei in peak baseball form.

Comedy landed perfectly this episode. And also this killed me :deadrose:

Yup, been screaming for folks to watch it for the last couple years as we see the path AI is headed. Suno is halfway there when it comes to music. I won't be surprised if we learn background music for shows/commercials are already using AI

:pachaha:
We're def heading there, we already people questioning if a song is real or AI. With capitalism influence on corporations we're going to see AI replace art. Music industry for example needs to find a way to unionize because AI can make many redundant in that industry.

For the show itself I liked what part 2 touched on, but it def felt like they needed more time to deliver, but still enjoyed it

I feel It's temporary because I don't think you can change the dynamic of the show that quickly. I assume he either reverts to his old self during the match or he'll have a split personality throughout the show. I am going to go with the latter because I don't feel he's fully commander Kei yet. Based on the flashbacks, Commander Kei was a cold dude and most likely like Kageyama in Haikyuu. I assume he wouldn't be that friendly with his teammates, but maybe he's like Oikawa in Haikyuu.

Anyway, I guess it makes sense to have Kei possibly back because it does push the series forward, and watch the underdog team beat the odds.

Just wrapped up Black Butler Book of Circus. It was outstanding, I would give it a 9.5/10. A bit of a slow start due to this being a partial reboot for the series.

The keys to the missing children lead the circus. One key relationship that was focused on was Ciel and Doll. In their first encounter Doll has the lie that she is freckles. She feels bad for "Smile" that she is lying to his face. Throughout the arc you see her trying to be there for him. The ultimate irony is that Ciel is lying to her face. At the end Ciel orders Sebastian to kill her. Despite the clear relationship that grew between the two, Ciel did what he needed to be done. As sad as that is unfortunately.

While this arc did dive into Ciel's past a bit, but it was only a tease. Kelvin is one such person that wanted Ciel to himself. Perhaps he has been wanting a child? But once he presumed Ciel died he was ruined. More so pointing to himself that he was ugly and literally remade himself. The sickening nature that he used the kidnapped children as the source with that, which is completely disgusting. The doctor points out the means rather than the process. But there is no way you can justify kidnapping and sacrificing children. That is fukking both disturbing and disgusting. It did help the orphans that he adopted, but the reality of their new bodies is just sickening.

Joker and the others while committed heinous crimes. You can't help but sympathize with them. They were given a home for the first and even body parts that they lost. They looked at Kelvin as their hero, but the worst part is how he lied to them. Part of their motivation was for the children in the orphanage, but little did they know that most likely has been gone for some time. Most likely they shared the same fate as the kidnapped children. It's even more depressing knowing that their cause for fighting was a lie. Really shows how sick both the doctor and Kelvin were.

A key focus on Ciel's character in this arc that I loved towards the end. Ciel was at his breaking point when he was captured when he was hungry. And thanks to Sebastian he survived and pressed forward. We also know his cold personality that we see when he is with Elizabeth. How different he was from back then.

Ciel still knows the suffering that he went through. Each of those kids went through that same suffering. This is something Ciel struggles with to this day. We also know those kids don't have the wealth or a demon like Sebastian to support them. So overall he decides to end their suffering. Yes they can live on, but he can't imagine the pain that living will burden him. Ciel comes off as edgy at the end, but it is more so to hide his true feelings. He knows he can't help those kids after saving them. He realizes the circus kids were lied to and used to do horrible deeds. Furthermore, he tries to hide it, but you can see Ciel has a big heart.

Mysterious Disappearances Episode 10

Want an outstanding episode from start to finish, to wrap up this arc.

Poor Nodoka at this point mentally she is fukked up. Her dad trying to help her finally is of no help. Oto and the others come and still nothing. Mikano shows up alongside Uramae-sensei. It is sad to think how Mikano's life is, and being so dependent on others. Being VTuber was her one way of being able to be that light to others. Unfortunately her body couldn't handle even that sadly.

Honestly as messed up as Nodoka went to attack Mikano was. It honestly makes a lot of sense. She is attached to the VTuber Yorumun not Mikano. We do know how crazy idol fans can be, and I felt that is what it felt like. Considering that her time is running sort she realizes she is in the wrong thankfully.

Man how they were able to draw out Yorumun as a Curiosity. Thankfully Uramae-sensei was around because it could have been a lot worse. Though once Mikano was able to talk to Yorumun and able to tell her that rooting for people isn't bad, but it's forcing people off the edge. A great twist in this ending was that the Curiosity Yorumun was doing all of this for Mikano. By spreading to different viewers she was able to save Mikano. In such a beautiful and wholesome way to end this arc. I am interesting to see what Mikano does with this gift going forward.
