The 7th Prince anime has been a surprise in terms of the magic system it is really well done. From spell stacking, to double incantation and to even how Qi can be used for magic. Damn kid blew a hole in the sky during the day :damn:

With that being said Mc is upper there for worst designs for an Anime protagonist that I have seen in a good while. Super :trash:

Is it straight forward or anything on the level of you and @twan83 typical “exotic” anime taste?
This isn’t an ecchi show. It does take about 5 episodes in to finally get off the ground and get to a real story. I think it’s solid enough that I’ll continue the manga after the anime finishes. The main couple actually works pretty well to me and they handle their tension and falling for each other believably. This is romcom comfort food.

I liked this show too. Don’t like the whole adults fighting over a shota but the main character is pretty entertaining and psychologically he isn’t a little kid.

@LordDeathwatch Part of the political aspect that I really like out of Kingdom. In a matter of one episode we see how the effect of emerging nation can cause. Where Chu gets the benefit from him. I am curious how Zheng and Lu Buwei approach this as both are trying to put Qin in the best position it can for each of their respective interests. But they still have their internal battle for Qin. The balance between these two really intrigues me.

Watch the first episode of Oblivion Battery, which is being done by Mappa. Honestly the baseball aspect of the episodes were really good. Nicely animated and in a way showed how important a catcher is to a pitcher. With that being said the gag jokes from Kaname got old fast :francis:.

Watched 2 more new seasonals.

The first being "Mysterious Disappearances." Honestly this one was better than I was expecting.

Ogawa's boobs aside I really liked what we got. Really an emphasis on mystery and supernatural. If this can anywhere as good as Dark Gathering with respect to the supernatural I am excited.(minus the horror since it isn't tagged as such) Ogawa's issues felt very real. In the sense imagine the thing you are passion about and found success in the past isn't working out anymore. The answer that came to her was returning to her youth.

Given the dangers that Ren mentions it, it should be something she messes around with. But you can empathize with Ogawa in this situation. The question remains who set this up. Also, Ren feels very familiar with the supernatural world.
This looks like a good one for Mystery/Supernatural fans.

The other being "The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio." Essentially regarding two girls who are voice actors, but face various with that. Watanabe having issues of the fake her that everyone loves. While for Satou who is more content of her real self and va self. But for her success in voice acting seems to have been a struggle.

On another Watanabe being a massive Mecha nerd was funny af :pachaha:

Konosuba is back :blessed:

For someone that just finished up a rewatch of everything except the Bakuen (since that aired last year), it doesn't feel like it's been 5 years since the movie and 7 since S2. Which is awesome because so many long awaited sequels recently have been a let-down. (Among them COTE, Devil Is A Part Timer & Goblin Slayer among such examples.)

Comedy was on point comparing it to S2 & the movie. Kazuma retelling his adventures gaming and Aqua rolling her eyes as Megumin and Darkness believed every second. We got the monster impersonating the must protect girl to perfection. Kazuma attacking Megumin's loli archetype. Darkness's butler mentioning her status is her only asset.
I am curious who Iris is why Darkness is looking like it's the end of the world that Kazuma and the gang are excited to meet her.

All the comedy was executed perfectly in this episode.

Dungeon Meshi Ep 15

Well this was a roller coaster episode for our gang. We got Marcielle teaching Laios magic, Which honestly is something that would have been better to do a while back, but better late than never. Then we have Senshi teaching Chilchuck a very valuable lesson as he gets older :mjlol:

Pretty interesting technically speaking the dungeon must always have an exit since it would disrupt the flow of magic. At the very least it can't permanently be closed off by the sounds of it. They manage to barely get by the Cockatrice while Laios was out of commission. Well the bad news is that Marcielle got bitten. Laios was trying to get her in the best position possible when she did get turned into stone.

I would like to believe that it was Laios's magic that unpetrified Marcielle. Though they just threw a bunch of ideas at once. Imagine being Marcielle being alerted to have limes on your face and there is a pot in front of you. :mjlol:

TenSura S3 Ep 2

I believe after this episode we are bound to press forward finally.

Now we get the events of walpurgis first from Yuuki and Kazaream's perspective. Calling Clayman his son, it makes more sense Clayman gave no indication of revealing information. Losing and losing his assets is a big blow. Laplace repeatedly told Clayman to not become arrogant, which he did. It's pretty clear that Yuuki was the one that set Hinata to fight Rimuru the first time. He plans to go after Rimuru. But we know Rimuru suspects Yuuki since he is the only one that could have known that he is from Japan to tell Hinata.

Hinata part of the episode was great IMO. Hinata after leaving Shizue ended up working for the church to find her purpose. But she found a place in the church. She found out the truth in regard to Demon Lord Valentine, and she beat both Roy and Louis. Valentine despite her outward demeanor, you can see is rather caring. Also, the big thing in this episode is that she rethinks of her decision to kill Rimuru and him escaping is good in hindsight.
One funny thing is how irritated Valentine gets regarding Veldora. But her talking to sense into Hinata when she mentioned she would go after Veldora. There is talk of angels and a war, well it's safe to say that Valentine's group seem to have a lot on their plate. So for now it seems for Hinata, they are letting Rimuru be for now.

There is one piece of information that could make an alliance of Rimuru and Valentine's group a reality. Shizue's wish. Obviously Hinata isn't in the same situation as the kids were regardless it's safe to think he wants to be on good terms with her. Really curious who makes the first move.
Finally, we got the start of Diablo's plan coming to fruition. Hostilities are over and Falmuth recognizing Tempest as a nation. Then also providing for reparations. Though it's really clear that the nobles have no idea of the situation they really are in. They mentioned Hinata, the hero or the other Demon Lords will take care of Rimuru. Truly shows how selfish they are. Though I am curious what the King's brother is up to.
