His fights showcased in the series were against Gojo and Sukuna. It's something people here could really miss since the way he easily he handled Nanami and Maki's group effortless is just
The fact he got Sukuna's acknowledgement that he enjoyed the fight says ALOT.

Frieren Ep 10 adapted chapters 21+22. It may have only been 2 chapters, but they adapted them to perfection I would say. 
In the first part of the episode you have the flashback showing Flamme was Frieren's master. Immediately you notice the mana difference between her and Freiren. What she did was surpressed her mana. The reason is simply demons measure strength based on mana, so they they thought nothing of her. But in reality she was much much stronger then they could imagine.
Lunger is response to Fern possibly surrpassing her mana as such as a disgraceful thing to do is ironic. Given how much manipulation Demons do. Frieren is now able to effortless surpress her mana to a consistent amount thanks to her training with Flamme. It's clear that Flamme was the first person who open the door to magic. I love how she wore the earrings that Flamme always worse. But like how it was mentioned before Himmel ended up surpassing Flamme as the most important person in her life. Classic Himmel fashion despite looking like she only had 1/5 of the mana of Heiter, HImmel knew Frieren was very very strong and the one they were looking for.
For the conclusion of the episode, simply put Aura arrogance like many demons led to her downfall. She thought oh I have been studying for 500 years there is no possible way the mana that Frieren was showcasing that she could tip the scales over her. But Frieren has lived twice as long and her true mana seems limitless. And theh the conclusion of Frieren of telling Aura to kill herself was the icing on the cake. It really shows Frieren is absolutely ruthless towards demons. After all they basically killed her whole village.

People forget Mahito was practically just born and he was about to body Nanami if Sukuna didn't body him fo trying to kill Yuji, just think about that
Choso had NO FIGHTS to his name and still beat a seasoned Yuji who Mei Mei/Todou/Ino all recognized as being on 1st grade level
Getos's rank is solely because the special grade curses listened to him, they didn't have to at all, so they must recognize he's too strong for them, remember Geto was also special grade sorcerer along with gojo, but Gojo was just out of this world in terms of potential

It's pretty much just charm. Tho to be fair like it was stated earlier in the season Elves are rare to find. Coming across an Elf (who live pratically immortal lives) and hearing there is a powerful mage in the area. It's to be assumed the two could be the same.
