Art style change is the big one. Animation it’s not much different but the art style doesn’t have that dark gritty edge that S1 had. Not an absolute dealbreaker but it is disappointing since everybody besides Priestess looks worse in it.

Emmience in Shadow S2 Ep 5

Omg I loved the whole Gamma fukkery at the beginning of the episode. Alpha and the girls really won't let her on her own and requires supervision. And Cid's advice her was classic telling your little sibling to button smash when you are playing smash bros with them. And well the clutz made 2 explosive falls leaving Alpha shaking her head lmao.

You know what I am really starting to like Alexia more and more. She continue to knows her weakness and wants to improve on it. She doesn't want to be left behind and honestly I am rooting for her.

Cid bullshyt fukkery knows no bonds. "The counterfit is of higher quality then the real one." LMAO. As John Smith we have him putting Shadow Garden and the Cult in a big loop. Wonder who will catch on. We do finally start to learn some of Yukime's motivations against Gettan which is revenge since it seem he took everything dear from her.

Honestly funniest episode so far.

Yo I just finished the last episode on my break and THIS is what I've been waiting to see. We keep getting these millisecond flashes of what these heroes were about but never enough to properly gauge anything.

Ironic that she's on demon time now.

The idea for most of these flashbacks is to bring reflection between how Frieren used to be to who she is now. But the demon girl flashback which I believe you are referring to is the first flashback that spoke volumes on what the heroes party experienced and learned. But also leads to what they are dealing with in the previous arc.

Na the flashback I’m referring to is the one she tells stark & fern when they assume they can reason with demons and that flashback is where the demon ends up killing the mayor tries using the word mama simply only cause she knows it would help her survive.

Showing words are just a took of manipulation for them.
