It seems like they’re training their minds instead of their bodies, so minimal action.

It would have been so lit if they had some time chamber shyt where they could go ham and fight all day.

Just finished BC this morning. Last night had to stop it in half.

Man I really miss this show.

It was an era and it’s definitely one of the greats…. Like it’s had non stop weekly 5+ year run….. and longevity is also a qualifier to be one of the GOAT shows

Asta definitely belongs at the table of Big 3 GOATs.

I just don’t know who else (from his era or slightly afterwards) can sit with him

What's the difference between Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? I've heard good things about it and was thinking I'd watch it next.

I suggest you watch both, order not that important but if I had to choose I’d start with the original + the film conqueror of shamballa.

The original FMA may not follow the manga to completion but the liberties they take are mostly well executed - the creator was actually impressed by the writing and interpretations of her characters.

Hell’s Paradise has like the best opening theme of all these shows.

shyt is catchy as fukk and didn’t fit what this show is about….. like you’re completely caught off guard when the show gets rolling and you see what it is after that opening

That was one wild ending

Jigo adapted Chs. 31-34+ A lil bit of Ch. 35. Good episode overall to showcase for the Tao/Tensen Lore along with 2 fights.

The first part follows up the tao stuff from the first episode. We see Choubei get infected and start becoming similar to the tensen as his tao increases as his fight went on. Now Choubei fight animation wise was pretty bad they def saved the animation for this episode on the fight featuring Gabimaru and Gantetsu.

The big drop in this episode was that the Tensen have a mix of Yin and Yang. Each residing with a different which is why they can switch. Mei as explained in this episode only has a female form since she only posses Yin. While the guy who was explaining it only possessed yang. This implies the importance of Bochu Jutsu. And forcing that on Mei is as disturbing as I read it from the manga.

The other thing is that Tao isn't soley for the Tensen. But you need a balance mind as this episode mentions. We see two routes with Tao. We have Gabimaru who has the tougher approach where he trains his mind and doesn't lose his humanity as we see with Choubei. Granted Chouebi shows signs of this episode that his body is fukked up and got a big boost in tao strength. But gains the regenerative abilities the Tensen have.

On a final note the fight featuring Gabimaru and Gantetsu was much better. It makes sense that Mappa wanted to put more of a focus on this fight. As it is a big showcase of Tao.
