Yo what the fukk. Every time I visit this thread, there's walls of text about fukking manga.

I posted the thread for ya'll to discuss this shyt in earlier.

This is legit worst than the fukking #ZestWars cuz at least actual animation was posted and discussed and (shytted on of course)

but nah this #ReadingWars shyt ya'll been on for the last couple days is wack and boring as fukk.

It's not like people are openly posting plot details of the source material. When talking about a derivative work the original is a fairly obvious topic.

There is no reading wars. Most people get into anime to start but over the span of a few years if you watch enough anime you'll build a list of series you were into that got abandoned by the studios. It's a natural progression that takes some longer than others.

The people that read aren't hostile towards watching anime. It's the other way around. So it's not a reading war it's a group of people that are passionate about not reading anything who become upset when anyone discusses reading at all.

But generally speaking you have it from both sides. You've got anime fans that won't touch source material because they don't want to read. Which I can understand.

Meanwhile, you have source readers who bytch about an anime because their adaptation isn't 1:1. Which is fukking ridiculous since anime is just a different way to represent or tell the series.

Honestly if you prefer reading or watching anime I honestly don't give a fukk. You do you. But again, this is an anime thread. Anime only people never touch the manga thread. (I don't because I barely have time to read.)

One Piece is one of the worst offenders when it comes to this. The superfans (stans) excuse it because he might use them later, which is a weak ass reason.
