Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

If something is on hiatus for 10 years I wouldn't expect it to ever return. If a person lives to be 70 then 10 years is almost 15% of their life. I'm assuming some health issue caused the pause if it's been that long so if it's that serious then it's probably a wrap.

They should hand that off to assistants and dictate the story direction. Its crazy they haven't done that when if they haven't returned in a decade it's unlikely they'll be able to.

Just watched 2 premieres of 2 Anime Originals.

The first was Lycoris Recoil. It looks like a CGDCT type of SoL. But it has an organization made up of girls fighting terrorists. Where one of them gets transferred to a different headquarters due to potential friendly fire. She gets transferred to a cafe bases one and basically helps those who are in need. Even with the whole fighting terrioists element, only recommend it if you are into CGDCT SoL. Good first episode overall tho.

The second one was Engage Kiss. Premise is that you have an organization that seems to do contract work to hunt demons. 1st impression on the action and animation are really good. The MC's partner is a demon who is OP by all accounts. The main issue is that you have a clear love triangle going on that looks like it could become really annoying really fast. While I think the action can be really good here, if you have any issue with love triangles or harems I would strongly discourage watching it. Feels like those are going to be a major part of the drama of the show.

Can't believe I wasted my time rewatching Gurren Lagan off a recommendation. nikkas really hype this series like it's Top 25 when it's Reggie at best.

Yeah I remember the author had some issues with her hand...but recently she posted that she'll finish Nana one day. but until then those who finished the anime can enjoy reading 20 volumes.
