Anyway, I saw a preview for Violet Evergarden, any thoughts on this one? Otherwise I have Scum's Wish and Kaguya Sama ready to go.
That show is all hype, but you might enjoy something like Slam Dunk because it's more realistic. Only gripe about Slam Dunk the anime didn't finish, so you would have to read the manga to finish the series. Kuroko was my first sports anime, and I feel it's a good starter series. However, I enjoyed stuff like Hajime No Ippo, Ace of Diamond, and Haikyuu more than Kuroko. I went back and watched Slam Dunk recently and that shyt is wiiiiiild propped up.
People don't compare Ashyta no Joe to Ippo for a reason but when it comes to Kuroko? Always gets lined up with that.
Now that you bring that up, that's pretty true. They aim for two completely different things, but I guess usually brought up due to popularity and same sport. I Enjoyed watching Slam Dunk a couple of years ago, but when watching it you have to remember you're pretty much watching early 90s basketball
