Mushoku's finale was the best case scenario. A lot of teasing, way more than the last volume they are adapting. Bind knows what they are doing 
I hope we get more of Eris journey sprinkled in during season 2. In the novels you basically get 1 big ass chapter about her every other volume but I think they need more content to compensate Rudy's next journey.

What is this about AoT Pt. 2 being 12 episodes that lead into a movie to finish the final chapters?
Eris is the best. In many ways the strong female protagonist that you wish more action oriented anime would have; the polar opposite to Sakura. And seeing the impact that Rudeus has had on the lives of his companions was a special moment. More of a "see you later" than a true goodbye between them as the bonds they've established over the years will last forever.
Easy 10/10 for Mushoku Tensei S1 part 2...and it's barely just begun. I'd put it in my top 20 now with the full expectation of it being top 5 within 3 seasons, potentially the best by the end. I'm so high on it.
For those interested in reading from here on out - you would pick up from LN volume 7, but I recommended you start from the beginning to see all the little details that didn't make the adaptation (I'm sure other MT readers would agree with this). There's a lot of stuff that was excluded, so it'll be a fresh enough experience to warrant starting over.
