The ANBU Black Ops is the liberal arts degree of the Narutoverse. Just something to throw on the resume to look good but without any practical value.

Just like Jounin rank used to be hype. Before the midpoint they were getting washed like fodder off-screen.

isabella was nowhere to be found or mentioned for a majority of the story going forward. did Yugo get deleted? the human soldiers finding the hideout in this episode is so much worse than what happened after they came back from goldy pond. they weren't messing around and actually got a couple kids, here they're bumbling idiots

yugo is a bad character. and if anything was ever gonna be changed, it was everything regarding him and that entire interaction. especially when groups later on were plainly better and got less shine

Every time I watch a dope anime episode that I enjoy, I consider it a win.
Beastars, Promised Neverland, Dr Stone were all good as hell today so thats like 3 wins for me.

so like... the current point in the anime. I was really gonna delve into the anime after this point, now I don't have a reason to not go all in.... except for spoilers from folks talking about how it's not faithful.

I don't follow many maj-MAJOR shows, but I understand the frustration of not fellowshipping with fandoms because some jackass wants to pretend to be the smartest person in the room for one in their miserable lives.
