I'm re-watching Gangsta for the 1st time since it 1st aired. I just finished the ep after the Doug vs Nicolas fight. I didn't realize before how good the background music is the 1st time around.

Doug was beasting. I really liked the move where the threw his jacket at Nick to blind him.

at Doug's reaction when he realized Nick was deaf.

I'm enjoying all of this theory crafting from longtime Inuyasha fans. Nobody knows what anything means so they're frantically trying to piece together clues for hints.

Highlight of the episode for me was Miniyasha doing the Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, Blades of Blood. Animation sequence was just about 1:1 from original series. Fun callback.

He was right more than he was wrong and in his defense, Luffy IS corny as fukk - Luffy just manages to be endearing somehow due to the goofy ass art style

Toshirama was wrong about that because the goofy humor of One Piece is arguably the key-component that helped make the series the biggest Manga ever. It's what has kept the series light-hearted enough for kids to read while adults have practically grown up with the story.

That’s why almost 1,000 issues in as the current saga reaches the biggest and probably most dramatic conclusion since Marineford Oda can work in joke characters like the two below and it fits perfectly.

There are only a few series that would be able to get away with this foolishness.
