. He retired after getting KO like exactly like manny Pac-Man by the number #1 contender in the world and became a trainer and a pretty decent one still trains but thought was punch drunk but isn’t. He became more smarter and wiser being a trainer and some how even stronger. It’s implying he will come out of retirement which of course he is but he will fight more smarter and different now which is obvious. Sendo beat the guy that beat him a few chapters ago

I appreciate Saori Hayami talent and unique voice but all her characters sound exactly the same and she's overused to the point of a Troy Baker or Nolan North or Laura Bailey is in the US. I get that she's probably this anime generation's Mamiko Noto but it's time they give her a rest for a bit.
Spoken like someone that came along long after the fact. People that hop on board after the hype are almost always doomed to be let down.
Brotherhood is slightly flawed and still depends on you having watched the original FMA to get the first part of the story but it is the crowning achievement of shounen adaptations. It may very well never lose that status because it's entire goal was to adapt a great shounen series faithfully and completely with no filler and it got to do just that. You'll never get a Naruto or a One Piece that does something like that because the series are too long. Maybe Demon Slayer which I've yet to watch but most top tier shounen series are too long to ever do this.
Brotherhood is ranked so high because many of the people that rank it so didn't watch it with lofty expectations. It deserved the hype it built even if it will probably not be able to meet it for all those just watching it now.

Same with Big O and a few other shows I used to be up for most shows but not FMA. I even stayed up when Inuyasha was on

All facts. Toonami gassed a lot of shows. FLCL in particular - legit trash. That brand is something else. Guys in here were trying to gas Dimension WI agree with breh and I was there when it came out on toonami the OG and brotherhood.
