Imo, I can't think a shonen in that generation that wrote women well.
Kishimoto got Sakura being a whole single mother along with all the major women dying on some dumb shyt.

I'm watching GitS: SAC 2045 on Netflix (new show). The story is still solid (picks up around 5) but the CGI is killing me.
