So finally got around to finishing IBO

I thought the first season was really good stuff, but kinda falls a bit flat in the 2nd season, even though still had high points. I do think looking back there truly was no need to incorporate gundams into the show or the poltical angle Gundam series have.

I know its a running joke in here, but why is it so hated?

gundam thunderbolt is even better though. definitely check that one out

I've heard mixed opinions but is Bleach with it?

bleach has its moments. i find it hard to recommend to people watching it now though

better than most shyt running though

Didnt need gundam name just call it iron blooded orphans imo but I loved it

it's my favorite genre when done right. and since the shows are usually one cour previews of manga there isn't as much of a time investment.

but i'm gonna have to make an audible to the sports genre after seeing scenes of elfen lied i'd repressed from memory

Ace no diamond is also really good it's a baseball anime

I mean technically it is romance but I find it far from it..it's more of a political drama and tragic. shyt had me reading about the French Revolution, king Louis, Marie Antoinette etc. You know an anime is done right when you go back to search up history.

I was pretty damn sure of that too until i saw that tag. not trying to figure out what they consider romantic about it.

I did catch violet evergarden when it aired and liked it a lot. kuroko is pretty good so that should hold me for a bit. not sure why i waited so long.

here's a question though - what are the good Macross entries other than Plus and DYRL? Watched both last year and thought they were great. But not sure where else to go from there. typing "Macross" in MAL gives you a dozen different results and I don't really trust their scores much.

Ace of Diamond is something I'm looking forward to down the line. I think its the next show after Kuroko.

Come to think of it, I've never seen a bad sports anime. So I figure I should be running into a bunch of hits.

That's another one I need to get too. Sounds like something I'd be interested in and It gets compared to Utena a lot.
