Most of the time it's not worth waiting on more anime. In the end Anime is usually a large commercial for the source material. You get a 12 episode single season and that's it. Maybe you get 24 episodes if you're lucky. Every now and then there's a series that's just so popular it demands they animate more of it. Maybe a handful of times a decade you get a show like OreGairu that's getting a 3rd season to finish it off and adapt the rest of the material but it seems pretty wild that's even happening.

The ideal situation is a Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood treatment or or Record of Grancrest War where something is about to wrap and they release an anime to tell the whole story. Demon Slayer has been going for a lil over 3 years. Probably not worth waiting.

The big downside to reading still personally think reading is worth it than waiting till god knows when it will comeback on or if it does get picked up or if they manage to royally screw up the source material to a good novel or manga like i.e.

I know Fairy Tail isn’t well liked here but after catching up on latest chapters of Black Clover, I had the urge to revisit Fairy Tail in manga form. I’m 9 vols. in and waiting for the inevitable disappointment to set but NGL, I’m loving it so far. Honestly don’t remember enjoying the anime this much.

That shyt to me is more agonizing than waiting for the animated show

if the animation is done right then its straight up

Most of the time they want to cramp as many chapters or books into one anime and it turns bad. In the end once your read gang its

so much piff out there
