I just started One Piece out of boredom. I had been avoiding it this entire time due to its length and people over hyping it. Just finished the Arlong Arc, the dated animation style was tough to watch at times but I think i'll stick with it for now (skipping fillers of course).

Ironically that dated animation is a whole lot better than the bullshyt Toei's got going on for a while now. It's absolutely criminal how bad the animation's gotten for such a top tier show.

yea....once they start delving deep into the god mythology on the show it gets pretty damn good...i was a lil off put by the way they had the "evil spirits" looking at first but i stuck with it and its paid off so far
