Judo dude: "lookit dat azz. :takedat:. You gonna let me hit that tonight, right :mjlit:"

Shyt, yall gon have me checking out GGO now. Been holding off since I've yet to see any of SAO

you don't need SAO to watch GGO. They reference it a few times but it has almost no bearing on the GGO story at all.

M stands for Masochist

holeeeeeeeeeeeee shyt

gun gale online is amazing :mjlol: i haven't laughed this hard all season

amazing episode wtf

"officer :dame:"

:dead:

"losing weight the manservant way - lets write a book"

:dead::dead::dead:

that "knife and kick" scene literally made me stand up and applaud.

that's only the fourth time an anime made me do that.

1. "I'm NOT my brother Kamina! I'm SIMON! SIMON THE DIGGER! :demonic:" from Gurren Lagann

2. Crocodile falling through the air at the conclusion of One Piece's Alabastra arc

3. The ref and crowd doing the 10 count at the end of the Nakamura/Bryan Hawk fight in Hajime no Ippo

4. LLEN being STOOPIDLY gangster here, going WAY PAST above and beyond in her pursuit to kill somebody. " God, please protect Pito... so I can kill her. :demonic:"

Watching FMA again...that ending really kills any of the fun the series could've potentially had.

The whole "The power of friendship trumps all" is so dull and repetitive that I almost hate seeing any new anime, due to that ideology being instilled in the entire culture.

Naruto - The power of friendship
Bleach - I can do it with the help of my friends
One Piece - Friends is all we have!

It gets tired, and at this point, pretentious. This very reason is what makes Cowboy Bebop so great. They take the whole "we need friends" motif, and turn it on its head, to a more simplified version; "Yeah we're friends, but we just met, and I have shyt to do". Literally the ideology of everyone in the series. Spike had a good friend in Jet, a future relationship with Faye, and a place to call home. To which he gives a major fukk you to, in order to complete a very selfish goal. I'm fine with that, because its real, its human, and its oddly reasonable. But imagine "its due to our friendship" being the end point to anything you watched or read? shyt would get tired real quick.

What bothers me most about this ideology in FMA, is that they only really wait until the very end to talk about how the souls in the Philosopher's Stone had any autonomy. That part felt very forced, and how there's not really equivalent exchange, as much as there is, ironic exchange. It all just made the ending that much more lukewarm. So Truth, gave Ed alchemy to that he could ultimately sacrifice it to bring his brother back...he doesn't become an alchemic god, he doesn't even purge the world of a piece of shyt godly being...he's just normal again, with his brother now fully restored. shyt went no where and its heralded as a top 10 anime, no thanks, not in my book.

Lmao this is why I bypass shounen and shoujo titles for the most part. I came up on that rugged shyt

Unless I'm bugging, I thought the purpose of Truth taking Alphonse body, Ed sacrificing his limb, was to teach that there is no equivalent exchange for a human soul. Hence why the alchemic god punishes those who look to trade with messed up exchanges/transmutations :ld: . When Truth returned Al via Ed giving up his gate Truth was delighted at him overcoming his hubris about alchemy and brought Al back altogether.

And that would've been fine, if they excluded the bit about friends trumping power. Why not have both friends and power? Again a lot of these mangaka don't go to school or write the manga in their teens, so they read one philosophy book and work off that. However, Hiromi was completely lost at the final product. The villain (Father) just wanting to become a God who knows everything was lame, but that's okay, as most villains are one dimensional, and this isn't a Miyazaki series...my problem was how the series literally goes no where, just to give Al and Ed, their respective bodies back, and take away Ed's powers. So all this drama, all the subplots, Scar, the Deadly sins, Bradley, all that is irrelevant because all we get as the audience, is a "power of friendship" finale.

Top 10? Not even close. DBZ actually has closure, and catharsis, and its batshyt crazy. So the fact that FMA can even deliver a good ending is just insidious.

Fate extra encore is beyond :trash: watched 3 eps
Saber out here busty as shyt :russ:
She talk so God damn much and seem like a damn scatterbrained
MC dont know what the hell his deal is but hate is all he feels :snoop:
shyt got dropped

Fate/Typemoon/Notes. properies are boring as fukk in general. Although I will say as dull as the Garden of Sinners movies are, they're beautifully animated. I literally forced myself to watch the first 6 GoS movies for that reason alone because the story wasn't doing shyt for me.

Past Few weeks:
I finished... Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, COMIC GIRLS, Sword Art Online Alternative: GUN GALE ONLINE, Season One of Space Battleship Tiramisu, Season Four(?) of Food Wars/Shokugeki no Soma, Yotsuiro Biyori, HINAMATSURI, Gurazeni: Money Pitch, Caligula.

Darling in the FranXX is on full fukkery mode, but one more episode, and that means saying goodbye to 02 :mjcry:

KAKURIYO -BED & BREAKFAST FOR SPIRITS- is in Part 2 more with 11 more Episodes to air.

Saw Hanebado! and ISLAND, Hanebado looks to be a Badminton clone of Uma Musume to a degree, where ISLAND seems to be this weird version of Time Travel/Amnesia plot plus LOST.
