Aite I'm officially on board for basilisk....it's cool that the two tribes are working together now because of the events of the original. Idk how these kids gonna make it thru this shyt tho cuz these new cats ain't no joke. I'm guessing they'll be a timejump at some point as well since they show older versions of the kids in the opening credits

Before they went flashback crazy (especially during the last eps where shyt shoulda just been intense the whole time) it was dope af. They just got too predictable with it. I'll take a flashback over a dude sittin in a chair throwing dozens of swords at an opponent while giving a 15min monologue anyday tho

Flashbacks were def getting out of pocket in the later episodes, especially on the twins.

I don't consider JT an action anime as there's barely any action in it, I enjoyed it for the characters and how they had meaningless deaths despite leading extraordinary lives. It's very much like the original Battle Royale manga that highlighted each student and character. The movie didn't do it justice despite becoming a cult classic for its time.

Anyway, the worst death game anime is still hands down Mirai Nikki

It was a good show, I watched both seasons, but it still had heavy lolicon themes which is normalized over there. They sexulized the ten year old and middle schooler too much throughout the show. Just facts.

I started watching Barakamon and it started off extremely wholesome but then they had a scene where little girls were playing with a sea slug like it was a dikk

Had to sign up for Funimation for season 2 since Hulu doesn’t have that season dubbed
