I still feel like this is the GOAT anime ed. That last shot gets me every time. I guess you had to watch the show at the time. It's like none of those people were enemies by nature. Their goals weren't that different and things could have played out like that final shot but they went so wrong.

Quality and entertainment value aren't the same as Code Geass can attest to. There's a reason the show was nicknamed Code Train wreck. The show was a mess but it was still entertaining for the fukkery. Aldnoah was too.

Really if you like that MMO Junkie show Re:Life is a must watch. If I could say a show encompasses the best traits of MMO Junkie its Re:Life and Re:Life will actually get a proper ending with a 4 episode OVA in 2018.
