Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

Not really it's just that there are a few people here that are into a very narrow subset of anime. If it's not action, fighting, or shounen they'd probably not be into it. Those at this point are probably my least favorite types of anime. I'm more into comedies these days. I came into the game on shounen type shows and got burned out years ago. When I started out I would only watch stuff like DBZ, Bleach, Naruto, and Gundam. Now outside of Gundam I don't even watch those type of shows anymore.

Same dudes who love that cooking show complaining smh. That show does have perverted ass scenes but it's part of the comedy. It basically takes all the lame ass tropes (tsundere and all that other shyt I can't recall) and does it extremely well and entertaining. It's a good ass anime if you like modern anime tropes. If you stuck in the 90's with your anime don't touch it. I was halfway trolling with that gif, that's far from what the anime focuses on. It actually has some damn good writing. The animation is fukking A1 too. The MC is dope and he stays pulling every chick in that show. And the chicks are legitimately cool characters. Best waifu cast in anime history. If you don't like waifus you not a real anime fan in 2017, lets be real.

It's not that serious. I recommend it, if you don't want to watch it, cool. I never felt "uncomfortable" watching Bakemonogatari. Why the fukk would I care to be defensive on a anonymous forum? Anonymity is the reason I even talk anime on here. It was moreso a recommendation to sell people on it. I just found it dumb people acting like they above ecchi in a goddamn anime thread. Especially you, considering you have the most posts in here. Like half ya'll weren't busting a nut (not literally) to that garbage ass prison school show.

Perverted shyt is clearly meant to be a source of laughs, especially in the show I'm talking about. Obviously grown ass men aren't getting off to shyt like that. Perverts in anime are fukking hilarious to me as I, and most men, can relate highly to.

Yeah I think they're written by the same guy. I couldn't get into Katanagatari either because of the absurd amount of dialogue. And to be fair I originally dropped Bake right where you did. The 2-3 episodes that focus on the snail girl are the worst in the series imo. Tried to rewatch it last year and made it past those episodes. The romance was what drew me in after that and then in season 2 the fukkery and entertainment goes up 100%. At that point I was hooked.

I would say if you really want to it give it another shot, try to get to episode 8 and see what you think. First 7 episodes are very monster of week type.
