Everything about Boruto is basically how they intend to follow the same recipe but with none of the charm to drive it
Naruto was trash as fukk, but a few good arcs every 100 episodes meant that anyone that grew up on it was basically obligated to see how it ended

The problem with where to start is there are too many options. I would suggest starting with anything non-Universal Century as you can easily follow the story right away. I started with G Gundam as a kid but have yet to re-watch it as an adult. It's probably the most different Gundam series from the rest as it doesn't focus on a war but instead a Martial Arts tournament with Gundams. I'll always highly recommend Gundam 00 as a top 5 anime period for me but some on the Coli didn't care for it. Generally most people seem to only like one of 00 or IBO and it makes sense as they are opposites in how they handle story telling, action and characters/back stories. I didn't like IBO but I only watched season 1. That's about all the insight I can provide as I haven't seen the rest. Gundam fans generally hate SEED Destiny but each series has its own fans and haters.

I'm sure I've seen at least half of the non universe shows when a kid but forgot all of it. Want to re-watch seed most of all and figure out what the hype was.

Yeah, I'd just go ahead and watch it. It's definitely worth the wait though. Probably my favorite Gundam series in years alongside Thunderbolt.

Youjo Senki is alright. It's one of those shows that's just there IMO, but survives because it has an unique enough angle to stand out.
Little Witch Academia is still the best show of the season by far, and now that it is actually moving towards its main plot, it's picked up even more (think about the leaps Trigun made after its first six eps).
