To answer the poll question I don't stan  . To answer the thread title we had both by at least '95. N64 by 98, Playstation by 2000. I probably spent most of my time playing Road Rash on the Genesis, a few memories of some shyt called War of the Monsters or similar, Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Donkey Kong 2, Super Mario Kart, Wing Commander, and Killer Instinct on the SNES.

My older sister had the Super Nintendo and my older brother had the Sega Genesis. So we had both. My sister gave me her SNES when she went to college. I was a Nintendo kid through and through.

Edit: Donkey Kong Country 2 and Super Mario World were my favorites.

Tell me you're a Sega Genesis kid without telling me you're a Sega Genesis kid.

Come up with 10 bullshyt ass reasons why TMNT Hyperstone Heist (Sega) is better than TMNT Turtles in Time (SNES).

And know in the back of your mind that throwing a foot soldier through the tv automatically makes Turtles in Time the better of the two.

But you still try to make a case for Hyperstone Heist anyway.

i didn’t have a system
my cousins on my dads side had a nintendo
my cousins on my moms had the genesis

best of both worlds :blessed:

how is that best of both sides?

assuming you didn't live with either cousins, you had to wait to see em before you can play

anddddd assuming said cousins were your age, you had to wait a turn

:snoop:

I had the genesis. Straigt up wish i had the SNES tho.

I remember Fatal Fury and Street Fighter 2 on SNES was harder to control...on Genesis, it flowed better. So did Mortal Kombat...the Fatalities had blood on Genesis and no blood on SNES.

something about sega games just felt so grimey its a weird thing i feel when think about sega. It didnt have the same feeling in the dreamcast era, but sega genesis games remind me of black air forces

SF2 came out first on the SNES. it came to the Genesis around a year later as the "Champion Edition" (which let you play as the bosses), along with their 6 button controller. around that time the SNES got the "Turbo" edition
