I know a lot of Egyptians out here in the Middle East and a few of them look like they could be brothas from the south side of Chicago. If they're black now, they coulda been black then right? :ld:

Those black Egyptians you speak of are the natives and true offspringof Ancient Kemet....Sadly most modern Egyptians are decendents of ayrab and Greek/Roman colonizers though.

nice way of tryna pass your opinion off as fact

but the real fact is ancient egypt was "black"

Black Egypt - YouTube

What opinion was I trying to pass off as fact?

I simply said, the descendents of the Ancient Egyptians speak Afro-Asiatic Languages. Which is fact!

anyways,

"Black" is a meaningless term when speaking of culture and ethnicity of a people.

Akhenaten was a mixed breed.

Go read and do real research instead of relying on youtube videos.

King Tut's Dna was tested a while back and he is part of the haplogroup R1b1a2 which arose in the Black Sea region 9000 years ago. That haplogroup has its highest concentrations in Europe.
Egypt is close to the Fertile Crescent. Some people in that region made their way back to Africa.

Every human has roots in Africa anyways.

that results from that test are highly controversial

Who tried to erase egyptian history from the face of the earth? I'm not familiar with a lot of this stuff

in the 19th century when europeans were exploring egypt there was movement suppress artifacts that seemed to suggest egyptians were black

one thing to keep in mind is that egypt lasted for 4000 years and it still exists in according to maps, but its pretty obvious that the original egyptians where black and its also obvious that the egyptians mixed with other races to become separate from people around them, but this mixture happened thousands of years after the original egyptians

in terms of artifacts the further back you go back the "blacker" the artifacts become, european sceintists avoid this by focusing on the later millennium when egyptians were without a doubt mixed and different

but originally the egyptians were black going by the artifacts they left behind, the negroid features are very hard to miss

I doubt the originals were black. Genetically and geographically they probably resembled people closer to the Mid-East. A lot of the art from the Old Kingdom doesn't appear to depict black people, but the Nubians conquered them later on, sometime around the 25th dynasty, and the art of that period will reflect black people.

They originally looked like this...

But then eventually in the 25th Dynasty when the Nubians took over depicted them as...

I don't get how people can say this like they know for sure. After the fall of egypt the black population began migrating out towards the south and west. Its absolutely possible the some africans from sub-sahara could be descended from the original ancient egyptians. SOME african americans could very well be descended from ancient egypt. Its not far fetched AT ALL.

:heh: stop it man, this is embarassing. There's nothing wrong with being descended from West Africa, they have a rich culture and history to be proud of....hanging off the nuts of the ancient egyptians and trying to draw connections to them by any means necessary is kind of pathetic. All that from "pyramids to projects" bullsh!t is a fantasy designed to stroke egos.

that was supposedly napolean, but that story is most likely bullshyt since there were records in arab histories (I think) that documented the nose as being chopped before napolean ever got there

Plus the fact that Napoleon was extremely interested in studying the ancient Egyptians, brought a gang of intellectuals with him on his invasion to study Egypt, and basically started modern European Egyptology.

Are those old kingdom sculptures? I googled and looked for some, I saw a few that had some black features but I also saw some that didn't too
