To start, Al Horford is out with a right knee sprain. Derrick White is probable with a right big toe sprain. All four other starters are questionable: Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Jayson Tatum (left ankle sprain), Jaylen Brown (right knee) and Jrue Holiday (right shoulder).

well he only makes 36 this year, and he's never played this well in his career period. he's in his prime not sure he gets much better than where he's at right now.
18 ppg and elite defense for 36 and ascending money-wise is a good bargain as the salary cap goes up

Yeah, the odds of them getting the 1 seed are so small it's not even worth pushing to do it(Boston would have to win out and Cleveland would have to lose out) - frankly, they don't need the 1 seed to get back to the Finals either.
