Hes similar to Vick, except to me he doesnt have the long speed to break a 60yd run... Hes not next level like Vick or Lamar, hes also not next level like them in terms of being slippery and juking guys out of their shoes. Hurts is more of a runner, just a guy who has great vision with running lanes (I dont know why it doesnt translate in the passing game this vision though)

Disagree on the breakaway speed. Hes definitely not as fast as vick but still has enough to break off massive runs
Agree on the juking etc, and his style being more of a straight line runner.

I've been going to Eagles games since Randall was QB. I've been to multiple playoff games. I interviewed the Eagles on my 11th birthday in the locker room. My allegiance runs deeper than your scorned reaction to my foresight.
I call a spade a spade. This organization is being run into the ground. For awhile I thought the problem was Doug, but the problem is that the organization is not fully aligned. Disconnect between QB and coach, disconnect between coach and front office, disconnect between coach and owner, disconnect between scouting and front office, I can go on & on.
I know some of you don't want to hear the real but I'm tired of being humble with nikkas. We are FKN TRASH. This organization turned into a joke.
Wentz was never the root of the problem, simply a symptom.
You go ahead & cook tho.
And I'll still be going to games even when we're terrible.
Im with you on that he is not the answer, and to me he is nothing more than a game manager with wheels.. I think he is special, like Vick, in that his escape ability from a collapsed pocket is elite. He does not have Vicks arm strength, nor the jukes, nor the straight speed of him though.
On Hurts, he is more accurate then people give him credit for. The biggest negative for him, that I see dating back to college, is the guy is a one read QB, and is very, very quick to run if not. Not only that, when he gets out of the pocket, he doesnt have good vision to throw to a breaking open receiver on the run, he just doesnt see the field that well..
I think we are going to suck, but we are in cap hell this year anyways and we are stuck with this team in 2021. I want to find some young players this season, to move forward in 2022, and from there to build a young core. We need to transition off of Fletcher Cox, BG, Malik Jackson, Djax, Hargrave, Kelce, Ertz, Brandon Brooks, Alshon and Slay.. Its going to be a lot of work, and considering the GM is the f*ck up in all this in my mind, I dont have much faith in this being successful, but I think its the only way

that's why nobody liked his ass even his teammates , he didn't earn his respect , his paycheck or position.
Even if Hurts ain't the answer , we know one thing Wentz was the problem.
The Colts 1st this year is 21, it's not like they held out on something better. The conditional 2022 pick based on him playing 75% of their snaps could land in the 2nd if he gets hurt, or anywhere between the late 20s and top 10 if he's healthy. That's a fair gamble for both sides.
