Went to the Doctor Today Cause I wasn’t Feeling Right…my blood pressure is 175

I know it’s not a magic pill but I’m so glad I commute to work on my bike. That’s an hour everyday day round trip that I’m exercising and it def helps maintain a healthy heart

changing your diet and exercising like many posters have already suggested is great, but you should consider your own mental health as well.

being online too much or engaging with too much negativity can spike your blood pressure too. studies have shown that a lot of high BP/hypertension in black people is linked to racism* as well, and everyone knows how awful social media is with that

id suggest a short water fast and maybe consider picking up something like meditation or yoga. make sure youre getting enough sleep, and pick up some daily multivitamins. and make sure you get generic vitamins, the name brand tax is real

Diet and exercising does wonders for your mental healthy. You don't feel like shyt from all the sodium and sugar. You get outside in the sunlight and breeze.

Cant kick it like we used to brehs. In your teens and 20s you can ear whatever, whenever and take a 2 hr cat nap and keep pushing. In them 30s and certainly 40s and beyond we gotta be more thoughtful about what we eat and move around and get rest. Wishing you good health breh.

Also dont let being slim fool you. Weight is important obviously. But if you arent taking care of yourself you can still be in danger even if you arent obese.
