I feel as hell because I remember they used to be $1

I remember when my roommate bought 8 two-liters of Diet Coke (or something like that) that were each on sale for $1 but they also had a $1 coupon attached to the label....so he paid nothing after the first one.

The cashier said that he couldn't take the label off until after he bought each one, so my roommate just pointed to the 8 bottles and said, "I'm going to get 8 of these whether I have to go through your line 8 times or 1 time. You decide how much work you want to do."

She took them all at the same time.
