I said ignore them not "give it value". This incident like you said isn't a big deal. They would have been better off ignoring them despite not liking them. There is value in tolerance, you don't need to piss off everyone you don't like unnecessarily.

In the case of FBA/ADOS they’re mainly irrelevant at this point in time so pissing them off is inconsequential

They are not the end all be all of the reparations movement

If they're so irrelevant they should have definitely been left alone.

Not necessarily

In my gym bums and weirdos come in and try and start fights and interrupt peoples workout, even if they can’t scrap you nip shyt in the bud if necessary

I think that was a bad decision on the part of the NAACP. You can't stifle black voices that you don't like.

But the FBA movement has been hostile to everyone, carries itself with immaturity, and moves like trolls, so it's no surprise that no one is interested in entertaining FBA, despite a legitimate cause.

They ain't building no bridges but burning them.

Maybe if they weened themselves from associations with Tariq and stop being hostile trolls online then it might turn out better.

ADOS has made more headway and positions itself as a more serious movement.
You were on point until the end. ADOS is in the same boat. Most people can't tell the difference between the two.

I understand. I don't care for ADOS either. But I do understand nuance. The leaders of ADOS at least does serious scholarship and not leading their movement with half-truths and misinformation.

FBA on the other hand has fallen into the same camp as BLM. BLM originally had an altruistic purpose but devolved into becoming hostile running interference for LGBT. And rightfully so, many of us stop messing with them. FBA can't see that they're doing the same thing, running interference with these diaspora wars promoting xenophobia and isolationism. And then positing themselves as the face of black Americans. Nobody ain't trying to mess with that.
