Yep, right by the foodcourt. And that shyt don't surprise me at all. I remember when they opened the founders came and basically helped train us. I couldn't imagine them coming to the shythole it has become. Hell, at this point I can't imagine any white person in Northland.

surprisingly every once in a while you see a couple, but that's mainly due to target. I mess with the barbershop in the mall so I end up that way a fair amount. Once Northland no longer had a ticket master location I think was officially the end, or when JCPenny's left. Eastland is just about that way, not as desolate.

Favorite memory of Eastland growing up. Hit the Mack bus. Go to Electronic Boutique copping new and used games. Then going to Sbarro's. Getting a Big slice with the sprinkled Parmesan cheese. :ohlawd:

Those Sbarro slices were that deal.

I also would hit up Otto's for that Chicago style popcorn, and spend like a half hour at the music store that was near the old food court, listening to new albums on those headphone stations they had, before buying a new tape.

Yeah, I'm trying to remember the name of that store. The last album I remember listening to on those headphones was Redman's "Malpractice" in '01. That was one of my record spots along with the store on E. Warren that's now Shantinique's (I remember when the old dude got popped :to:)

I can't remember the names of the other record store near the new food court. They changed ownership a couple times and it was a bigger store.

Lmao, my nikka................................. I lost my virginity in Hudsons lol. Remember the top floor had all the couches and furniture and nobody ever used to be up there. Me and my nikka that just went back to prison had this group of bytches we had met up there on Saturdays (hit the mall, walk around days), and on like the 3rd time we took them hoes to that furniture floor and got it in lol.

I also remember we had a big ass Finney (Roc a Thug) vs Denby (Woozie) fight at the Beacon East, that shyt was one of the livest times of my life. I stabbed a nikka in the leg and shyt lol. Eastland used to be the shyt, they really fukked up when they closed both theaters years ago, that at least kept the younging coming and shopping with friends.

Im a eastside nikka and aint been to Northland in a while, but I doubt its as dead as Eastland. They need to build a Star Theater where the Circuit City used to be, im sure that would bring people back that way.

This nikka knows my whole hood lol, back when my nikka Dobbs got that shout out from Obie on the radio we sold all his mixtapes thru Shantiniques and them bytches were gone in a few days. Low key, they are still doing good over there, Jermaine Jackson bought it (played for U of D Mercy, played for the Bucks, Pistons, 76ers, ect) but his whole fam is indicted for fukkin round with them Oxy's.
