I would never say that. He could be father of the year for all we know, but 6 kids by 4 different women is crazy. Especially when the media constantly paints him as a great person of high character. Now if he was on that "No weapon formed can hurt me" and the "Only God can dictate what i do" and he was still having kids with multiple women that a completely different thing

No one is saying that. Re-read every post in here made by me. I saluted the brother. I hope he continues his journey. I hope every receives the lord, whenever, wherever. What I am saying is if you step onto that pulpit you better be prepared to have all your skeletons out in the closet.
People shop around for churches all the time to see which ones they "fit" into.
Are the people like minded?
Do they share the same values?
Religion is more than a relationship with god but it is also a social experience. People hold their pastors to high esteem so when a pastor is found to be doing something wrong, he steps down. The people of the church are let down. You can sit up here and say, "they should stick it out because the word is more important than one man" but for a lot of people it isn't and only now the church is starting to realize that.
People aren't going to hear the message if they don't like the messenger and guys like Ray Lewis who are polarizing figures preaching and catching the holy ghost on the field will turn more people off to religion than not especially with all his baggage. He should know that and anyone who has stepped foot in a church should know that.
This was too damn easy. If you going to step onto that pulpit you accept this responsibility.
