Honestly, I don't even know why a woman would take anything seriously that 99.9% of these dudes say on here. Objectively, they aren't social scientists or some shyt. They're just men with tenuous opinions based on their limited anecdotal experiences. They are not going to be breaking down the GSS and offering serious insight based on inferential statistics, research they've conducted, qualitative measures, etc. It's essentially barbershop canards, and a site like the Coli is going to be self-selecting in that regard. It's akin to me going to LSA and extrapolating from that all women enjoy gossip and want a "baller." Even a good portion of the men that position themselves on here as a pro-egalitarian society, pro-black women, or worse yet -- have been deemed a "simp," will be in the next thread referring to women as bytches and hoes. But, is that representative or generalizable to all black men? Of course not. The main thing you can take away from this site, LSA, and the internet as a collective experience is that most people aren't shyt (i.e. whether they are black, white, male, female, et al). Yes, that might be a harshly cynical view or even misanthropic, but this place and the vast majority of places online are indicative of it. If you take that approach, and apply it on some Cartesian foundationalism shyt, it becomes easier to not take the things you read and see online seriously. Ultimately, it's not a "most black men don't ride for black women," thing. It's a "most people aren't shyt," thing. It's not a "black women hate black men," thing. It's that "most people aren't shyt." The internet is the equivalent of writing dirty jokes on the wall in a public bathroom and having subsequent visitors find it humorous, feeling apathetic towards it, or deriding it.
