Seems like it's been a mixed bag with Jenkins, not terrible not really impressing either.

Supposedly Nathan Palmer is one of the rookies who is really standing out.

Any news on the RB comp behind Gore ? Is KH still holdin the #2 or LMJ making a push I know they brought in Jacobs but I honestly don't see how he helps When Dixon is here

Harbaugh in an interview singled out Kendall Hunter and Ahmad Brooks as both having very impressive camps, if that does anything for ya.

I think it`ll be simple as this.

Gore the main guy
Hunter, the semi-main guy in carries, just behind Gore.
LMJ the trickery, 3rd down back type.
Jacobs short yardage
Dixon, playing elsewhere.

Nah, Miller does a fine job at FB.

Dixon just needs a look at another team.

They been doing that for Dixon, giving him time at FB here and there in camp and the results have been meh.

Dixon been tryin 2 run like a scatback his whole career, he isnt hard nose enough to be a fb, might as well use Jacobs for that bc they both got the same running style except Jacobs is wayyyy better.

i hope alex stays healthy because i have NO faith in kaepernick, johnson, or tolzien. whichever ones they keep. with no injuries i see another 13-3 season 11-5 at worst with a. smith taking another step forward developmentwise. i got my sunday ticket game plus tix to see them vs. the rams on the 11th. Hey man, I`m with you. None of the backups instill any confidence, if anything Tolzien seems to be the sturdiest guy, they say he had a great day yesterday. Kaep seems to have stunted growth and JJ just doesn't seem that good.

I got my Sunday Ticket through my Ps3, had my mom purchase DirecTV at her place so I can use the Sunday Ticket mobile at mine. Also got a ticket for the Jets/49ers game on Sept. 30th, that one is gonna be fun.

The first depth chart was released yesterday, The running back order is so far is:

Gore
Hunter
Jacobs
James

They have Dixon as the 2nd fullback behind Miller

That makes sense, LMJ gonna be a specialty type player, groomed into a role like Sproles has.

I think people gonna be surprised by how much Hunter plays, it might be 60/40 Gore-Hunter

I think the whole philosophy will change that, Greg Roman and Harbaugh were calling it safe last year, now with a little more confidence instilled in Alex and more faith in the offensive weapons, they`ll take more chances in the RZ
