Now this coulda went somewhere. Leave it to WWE to drop the ball creatively, leave their talent out to dry and then say they aren't ambitious enough.

THIS looks like something Xavier, Big E and Kofi came up with themselves. Three wrestlers in a stable with their individual personalities coming through. Instead we get them repackaged in shiny suits dancing and singing. :stopitslime: I don't even understand the motivation for the New Day gimmick.

Then Vince and Co will say "No one wants to take the ball and run with it when given the opportunity!" :mjlol:

They look good in the ring for the most part, good to get a win over that team (although everyone does)

But man you could see the blatant piped in cheers when they arrived and during and after match

The fact they tried to get the crowd ringside hyped after the match and the CaCs just looked at them all weird and expressionless was kinda cringeworthy

But they are decent in the ring in a traditional 80s and 90s babyface midcard kinda way. they don't suck, just average.

Seriously who thought this was a good idea? The crowd already is starting to show their hatred for this corny stable and they've been reduced to pre-show matches. This is already a major setback for all of their careers. Sure they might be having fun but at whose expense?

And the WWE is further showing how much they don't know their audience because even the white fans are calling out the lame stereotypes and how this is a waste of their talents.

I agree with everything you said, but in this climate where racial tensions are at an all time high, they cant afford to have a militant black group expose their majority racist cac fan base. The reason why groups like NOD worked in the mid 90s is because lets be real, no one was watching and they can afford to take risks. Now they are a public traded company with women execs and sponsors like Kmart. They are going to do a lot to piss ppl off
