I agree with everything you said, but in this climate where racial tensions are at an all time high, they cant afford to have a militant black group expose their majority racist cac fan base. The reason why groups like NOD worked in the mid 90s is because lets be real, no one was watching and they can afford to take risks. Now they are a public traded company with women execs and sponsors like Kmart. They are going to do a lot to piss ppl off

But then the fans don't like this Legion of c00n abomination either. And they did a similarly controversial angle with Rodney Mack and the White Boy Challenges around 2003. I think there wasn't as much backlash because it was so over the top that it mirrored the absurdity of blaxploitation movies.

I'd even take that absurdity over this embarrassment.
