Everyone wants to talk about their c00nery, their outfits, yeah all that is ridiculous.

But the craziest part of this whole thing is that I started this thread in May where the ideas were coming up for this group. They debuted as group weeks later, did their militant type promo, were taken off TV, then SEVEN MONTHS later this is what we get.

So it took 7 months for them to come up with tandem moves, get Sandra to make this tacky ass blue outfits and for Big E to get himself a towel?

Terrible.

Didn't read the thread, so I'm sure there's lots of complaining, but I'm not gonna lie breh, I liked the debut.

I was expecting the absolute worst from this. Each having their own unique dance move, forced ebonics, a promo about how "privleged" they were and all types of extreme c00ning. I didn't feel like I got that. I got a bunch of really good friends who genuinely seemed to be about teamwork, positivity, and handling their businesses. I don't think loving your brothers, having a good time and being high energy is in any way shape or form c00ning. Being a "real nikka" does not mean you need to be callous and angry looking.

Outside of the goofy color scheme(blue and light blue have never worked...ever), I enjoyed their team wrestling moves, their energy, and their enthusiasm about getting the gimmick over. I also busted out laughing when Big E took out the towel and dabbed his forehead whike saying "y'all feel that right?" Lmao.

Hope they succeed. I know they'd never be allowed to be on some extreme militant type of ish, but at least they're not on the extreme, R-truth end of the spectrum. I'm okay with them so far.

Edit: just read the last page. Geez y'all really hated it hahaha.

I definitely agree now isn't the time to be smiling and celebrating like all is right in black America, but if youre tuning into wwe to see pro black militants you are watching the wrong show. The company is racist. I'm just glad they didn't each bust out a freestyle on their way down to the ring.

If anything, the vibe I got from them was a black college fraternity.

:heh: This is still Kofi, Big E, and Xavier Woods we're talking here, not Los Matadores or Slator Gator or whatever team the WWE jobs out. The WWE likes the 3 of them, just not enough to give them main event pushes. You don't put a team together with former IC, US, and tag champs and have them jobbing like 3MB or relegated to the same shyt every week without doing anything like Brodus Clay.

People in this thread are being overly pessimistic about this just because they didn't get they want in a militant stable, but these are still 3 successful and talented dudes, who have already had a track record of some level of success. Big E's won the IC and NXT title (two big accomplishments FYI) and was one of the first to be brought up from NXT. Kofi has won all the midcard belts there are and they haven't kept him around this long for no reason. And Xavier Woods and his PhD are good looks for the WWE, plus he's pretty good in the ring and on the mic. So if you think these guys won't win the tag titles any time soon, meanwhile the Dustheads can win it in their first 2 months, then you aren't even giving them a chance. This gimmick is straight :camby: to me but at least they can put on entertaining matches and they actually pulled off the gimmick pretty well on Smackdown.

Based on how the gimmick is being promoted, this is going to be something cringeworthy with little to no payoff. And on top of that, the online comments (even from white people) are shytting all over the gimmick.

Of course, I hope this can lead to greater success but realistically this gimmick is just a lazy way for bookers to group the black wrestlers together and give them equal camera time and put them in repetitive matches.

People are being pessimistic because it's the WWE...their booking is trash and it's always twice ten times as bad for black dudes.

Like, even if we don't get a militant stable (which is perfectly fine, I'd prefer it not be one), why does it have to be three jiggaboos dancing to choir music? Why can't it just be three cool guys that run shyt? Why can't they be the Shield? Or Evolution? Or the Wyatt Family? Nah, two options - militants or dancing.

i was just thinking about that, its always extremes with the WWE. babyfaces HAVE to be all super happy, i'm happy to be here and the heels HAVE to be arrogant and take a shot at the sports team.

Them dude's didn't really need a gimmick to be honest. Just let Kofi and Xavier go after the tag team titles and let Big E go after one of the mid card belts as an unstoppable beast.

As a matter of fact, I liked Xavier's TNA gimmick as Creed. Just bring that back.

Only black TNA wrestler I can think of with a terrible gimmick was Orlando Jordan(and he came up with that). The Pope, Consequences Creed, Ron Killings(R-Truth), MVP, Kenny King, Awesome Kong, Lashley, Jay Lethal all got a chance to show out with unique gimmicks that were completely different from one another. They weren't just dancing for no reason, they had characters.

So true, besides what program is there for them ? I can't think of on reasonable feud for them or for any member of the group. And we already now it will be a bunch of lame jokes and angles they are involved in and if they manage to gain a little popularity its time to put them down
