that run they went on in the second half of the 2007-08 season was the GOAT season in team history :wow:

a pre-injury prone/pre-bytch made CP3, David West, Peja, and Tyson Chandler were fun to watch that year and still to this day is the only #1 seed in New Orleans team history (since 2002), and Charlotte Hornets team history (1988-2001).

and it's been downhill ever since. from star players not being able to put their uniforms on without getting injured for weeks on end, to absolutely atrocious coaching year in and year out. it's no wonder that after 17 years in N.O. they still can't build a consistently strong fan base.

:mjcry:
We unfortunately fell to #2 that season after the Lakers were gifted Gasol.

you right, I meant to say division winner (which makes it even worse)

that 2007-08 Hornets team is the only division winner in franchise history (and that's even counting the 88-01 Charlotte teams) :mjcry:

They don't need BI anymore and he knows it. He is streaky and inefficient. When zion was out they needed his wild style of play to create shots cause nobody else could. Zion can give them more scoring and is much more efficient. Offense clearly should run through him every play. Trade Ingram and jrue while their value is high and get solid complimentary players and knockdown shooters around zion.

Well give you Danny Green, Troy daniels for ingram if yall wanna surround Zion with shooters and dont want BI :skip:

He would help tremendously defensively but how effective would he be as a third option? He’s a upgrade overKuzma though.
