I said in preseason Zion was our best player. Some in my circle was saying I was overreacting and it was still Jrue. I was like nah it don’t take a rocket scientist to see. When you special you special.

The Pels on this “everyone should feel special” steeze but next season they better start having Zion front and center. No more introducing him second, no more “this is Jrue’s team” BS, no more having him in the back of the photo while Jrue and BI are centered...motherfukkas smarten up. If y’all wanna sell tickets and keep up buzz, you have Zion front and center EVERYWHERE.

Freaking Pat Mcafee of all people called us out on it and even though his take was filled with horrible analyses, he was spot on on the take that we are trying way too hard to not act like Zion is the franchise and that’s the stuff of poorly discarded franchises which we are trying to reverse the narrative that we are.

I may be over reactionary. I get wanting to make him earn his keep as THE guy on the team and also not wanting to overburden him with expectations. But this the NBA. Only the strong survive. And in the two games I’ve seen from Zion, the kid has IT.

The training wheels need to come off next season.

they could be the next great star wing player/big man duo w/ zion and bi both dropping 25+ppg

He was being froze out in the 3rd q his first game.

I refuse to give up on Jrue but the "Jrue For MVP" stuff was too much. Griff has to clean up his act.

What's crazy, even those PHX teams had size in the post and perimeter..so we are going have to trade Jrue
