Horford would be terrible for this team, especially on that contract. Like I said in the other thread they need to look at guys like Nerlens Noel, Andre Roberson/Tony Snell in FA. If they could sign all of those guys for cheap that would be a nice start.
Pelicans need a spacer, currently their spacing is horrible with Zion and Favors. Horford spaces the floor but you are right about his contract and that is the reason Pels wont even look especially with Ingram, Lonzo and Hart contracts coming up. Noel would be a good backup but they need to figure out their big.

Melli looked horrible early in the season playing the 5, he has looked better next to Zion but that is in stretches. Myles Turner would be great too since Pacers are always thinking about moving him.
11 and 6 would be decent as long as he plays with heart them 2 we got in front of jax are the worse. Why aren't our rookies getting more play anyways
This kid Zion is a beast, and BI reminds me of cell saga Gohan before he went SS2 this season. He's clearly got monstrous potential, but he isn't going to be able to fully realize it and start dominating at will until his body gets stronger. Now that he doesn't have to worry about recovering from surgery I hope he takes this off-season as a chance to gain some more strength and size. He won't be complete until he can guard other opposing star wings without getting pushed around IMO.
Yea that Zion-Melli lineup is something you do for only 15-20 mpg. That's why you need someone like Noel for the rest of the game. And they need to move Jrue and his contract for a big or wing if they can, Turner would be nice in that situation. Pels don't really have anything else to give up though.

You compare them to a real high BBIQ prodigy like Zion who already knows EXACTLY where to be, when and where to move, how to move with and without the ball... the gulf in competency (to a 19 year old kid!!) and the sheer idiocy and incompetence they display every game in comparison to someone like him is straight up staggering. It's absolutely disgusting to watch and I'm not going to after the end of this season.
