That whole region of West Africa is perfect for it and rice keeps for a long time and it’s a staple there.
The vast majority of humans are not movers of that magnitude so to think a significant amount of black americans are moving there is unrealistic and that's before you get into the substantial contrasts in way of life between here and there.

Jobs and for their kids but honestly many times staying right where you are is better
I remember a former Nigerian co worker breh told me in Nigeria he lived in a a gated community, had a driver , housekeeper etc.
He moved to Canada with his wife and child and was paying 2 grand a month for a one bedroom in a old apartment.
He later moved to a cheaper city but dude was crazy educated and smart
Folks will leave that good life for America o Canada or UK and make like fifteen a hour just getting by. While they would have been better off just staying
