Sex and the City made 57M four years after the show ended, but women are more likely to come out in droves to support.

I thought that it was funny and went back to it original roots and debauchery. They should have just made this a straight to HBO movie and sold the DVD/Blu Ray afterwards.

Wasn't Sex and the City a lot more popular anyway? I never got the picture that Entourage was more than a niche audience anyway. But they came out on Tuesday night, $10 is not a good look assuming they basically got a week's worrh of time for a weekend opening.

Yeah just being on the outside of it, Sex and the City was the bigger show culturally so that's a rabid fanbase. I never got the impression that the entourage fanbase was rabid or that big or just clamoring to see more of these cats. My friends who loved the show weren't even interested in the movie

It actually made 18 million over 5 days. Not 10 million. I'm disappointed was hoping for 25 million. The movie was great. HBO should bring it back for a limited series run every couple years. It's the kind of show you can check in with the guys every couple years and not miss a beat.

JUST got back from watching with two coworkers. Movie was straight laughs and fukkery just like I like my Entourage.

I knew from the moment the theme music qued up I was in for an enjoyable night

Only thing I didn't like was

Ari getting fired was dumb as shyt. Ari is a winner, he WINS. There's no way he would've lost his position over some dumb ass hick's son and his jealousy

Everything else was straight gold. Seeing Drama finally get some shine after 8 seasons of struggle was rewarding as a fan. I'm glad they glossed over Vince's marriage as well just as it deserved to be.

E is still an undeserving dikk but he got what his storyline needed.

Sex was definitely bigger, which is why Entourage really couldn't afford to wait four years.

I was a fan of Entourage, but even if it came out less than a year later, I probably would've waited until it came out to watch it.
